QUOTE
As of this week, a slight change is implemented regarding the Hot 100's methodology (as is occasionally done), moderately tempering the influence of streaming, due to its hefty growth over the past year, while also increasing the contribution of digital song sales. With the formula change, which also affects Billboard's genre-specific hybrid charts, the ratios for the three contributing sources to the Hot 100 (sales, streaming and airplay) are more equally balanced, with streaming still the most dominant factor as it has been for the past few months.

Yay at quite a bit of movement this week.

Selena is doing fantastic this era in the US with four consecutive top 10 hits, extra good to see two in there on the same week currently. HTM is a nice little tune so hope it can continue to climb.

Great to see Work get Rihanna anothet T10 hit, she must have loads now, hope it doesn't fall too quickly and has more of a FFS run.

Three #1s for Justin then, just like here!

'Me, Myself And I' is so far beneath Bebe Rexha it's unreal. It's gutting to see this doing so well when all the stunning material she's had before went by completely unnoticed. sad.gif

I think the new streaming rules better explain why "My House" and "Hands To Myself" now have positions that aren't far off from their current iTunes positions. Rihanna still sold like crazy before "PILLOWTALK" was released.

Yay for NO non-movers in the top 10! (They should change the ratios every week) Three new songs in the top 10 is excellent and there could be three more next week if Pillowtalk, Summer Sixteen, and Me Myself & I can all make it!

All My Friends needs to get pushed over here, I hope they're just waiting for it to peak everywhere else because otherwise it'd be a huge wasted opportunity.

Hooray for Dierks and Maren Morris debuting!

Yes: http://www.at40.com

But it bears little resemblance to the Hot 100, so its a bit like Big Top 40 in that respect.

AT40 used the Hot 100 until 1991. These days they use the Mediabase pop airplay chart, I think? I'm not sure.

It's Mediabase pop chart with recurrents, but two weeks late from what I've observed. "Here" just reached #1 there, compared to "Love Yourself" getting a second week at #1 in today's update.

(And even then "Lean On" is several spots higher than in AT40)

There's also the iHeartRadio Top 20 Countdown, which is more up to date in terms of how much it matches with the corresponding Mediabase date, but last week's show hasn't been updated yet.
