Florence + The Machine take the number one spot back!
Congratulations to Florence + The Machine, who have done something which two weeks ago looked very unlikely: they have taken the number one spot with What Kind Of Man for an eighth week. The band have six other songs in the top 40, with Queen Of Peace, Various Storms & Saints, Hiding and St. Jude being new entries at #14, #18, #28 and #37 respectively, Delilah, which climbs one place to #19, and How Big How Blue How Beautiful, which soars 47 places from #72 to #25. Consequently, Sigma and Ella Henderson are knocked down to second place after two weeks at the top. Black Magic also slides down 1 place to #3, a fall replicated by Body Talk at #4. Years & Years climb 2 places to return to top 5 with Shine. Together falls one place to #6, which Come And Get It rises 1 places to #7. Afraid To Love slips 2 places to #8, while King remains static and not too far from the throne, settling at #9. The top 10 is rounded off by Mirror Man, which returns to the top 10 after a six week absence to expand on its record number of weeks in the top 10. This week marks it's 29th. Other new entries and high climbers There are four aforementionned entries from Florence + The Machine, plus Mother at #90. The only other new entry comes from Kygo and Parson James, who enter at #27 with Stole The Show. The Rudimental version of Bloodstream gains five places to reach a new peak of #12. This is just one place below the peak for the original version. Meanwhile, David Soul continues his slow ascent up the top 100, going up 1 place to #15. And speaking of Rudimental, Never Let You Go soars 33 places to #56. New peaks this week include Red Balloon, up from #48 to #43, Rock The Casbah, up from #52 to #45 and Not Letting Go, up from #57 to #53. The highest climber this week is How Big How Blue How Beautiful, which soars 47 places from the lower depths of the top 75 all the way to #25. It previously peaked at #44. Meanwhile, the biggest faller this week is We Will Rock You, which trips 37 places to #92. |

Taylor, Stole The Show is great but Firestone is his best. Wow at your #1 run

Hey Taylor Body Talk is great! Could be heading for my 2nd fave lead of hers, behind Youth, Clarity and Right Here (Andy C Remix) Need to listen to Newman's track, New York Raining is pretty good and NLG great also (and looks likely to smash! ) Flashlight is ok but the Giver pretty dissapointing compared to his previous 3 which were all brilliant Rixton's track is pretty good, the Believer track is good but the remix is a bit better I'm hoping Body Talk finally gives her a hit! Come And Get It is quite different to his sound on Tribute actually. I do agree that The Giver isn't nearly as good as Duke's other efforts. Though this should be clear with Won't Look Back being a two week number one, I Got U going top 20 and Need U (100%) which likely would have gone top 5 if I had done charts then, while this doesn't crack the top 75. |
