15. Ciara - Sorry (29.17%, 7 votes)
So the first of the top 15 to fall out is 'Sorry'. The track was initially launched as the lead single of Ciara's fifth studio album, however due to a couple of false starts and a few flops before anything actually stuck, the song was never included in the final tracklisting for the album and remains one of her non-album singles. It failed to dent any official chart, only peaking at #42 on the US Billboard R&B Charts. Another Ciara ballad, you could argue that it is reasonably sonically similar to her earlier work like 'Promise'. I know it hasn't done amazingly on this rate but I have to say I am surprised it has done as well as it has; it has always striked me as one of her weakest and most forgettable singles. I can see why some would like it but I find it a tad bland and I prefer Ciara's voice when she uses her more more husky side - the key she sits in for the pre-chorus for example is when I find Ciara's voice at its least comfortable. However, as Cremey was arguing her vocals were 'effortless' on the track, this is all just a matter of opinion.

Round 7 open for approximately 3 days.
think it is time for 'i'm out' go now. i do enjoy it and have so much love for the nicki verse but i can help but feel if it didn't have that feature it wouldn't be thought of particularly fondly at all.
It gets a bit hard at this point, but I'm gonna go with 'I'm Out' I reckon.
Got Me Good
Promise.
It is nowhere NEAR time for I'm Out to go...
'promise' is such a ciara classic, upset to see it isn't thought of as highly as i thought it was
Promise is the only one left that I don't completely and utterly love, so I'll vote that. Although no idea what to vote for once it's gone
*bump*
