 Hi! I agreed to be the sacrificial lamb that takes the UK, but in return I've also ended up with this eternal icon  *.* This is the first heat with more than four countries, and putting aside the UK, they don't have a full ten entries each either (unless we do wanna put in?!), so things won't be quite as straight forward. Please PM me your votes by 23:59 on Monday 7th August, results will take place the following afternoon/evening sorta time. I ask that you rank each countries entries in the usual manner with 12, 10, 8 etc, as far down as it'll go for that particular country. And before the results are presented, I'll have confirmed with our Eurovision mod overlords about how many wildcards there are this week and whether anything needs to be done in the interests of fairness to stop countries with less entries from having an advantage. I still think I Can, Children Of The Universe and It's My Time are fantastic songs, the first two definitely deserved top five and top ten respectively. The rest are varying levels of good to average to absolutely diabolical.
Poland are the weakest link for me here, Bulgaria have the odd moment and Russia do female peace balladry well but the rest of their output is hugely overrated for me. |

I don't LOVE anything from the Polish lot, my 12 for them is probably my least favourite from all the heats so far. I know Donatan & Cleo are pretty popular but that's one of the worst! |

Russia are really one of the worst. So many bores that do nothing to justify the positions they get. I have an easy 12 for that. Not that we're much better of course, I have an easy 12 for that too, the one time where I've watched Eurovision and actively cheered on our entry to do well.
Georgia and Bulgaria are more my style though, great countries all round. |

Hmmm, Flashlight feels like another one that just qualified because it was recent but then again Poland's not exactly a stellar set of songs so I'm not majorly distressed by that.

I'm quite surprised that Party For Everybody only finished in 8th, I always thought that was quite popular? I'm not complaining, Russia definitely have better entries, but I thought it had a good shot of getting through. Hoping that Love Unlimited can make it through as a wildcard along with maybe Jestem or Mamo

I can't say I really expected it through when A Million Voices, You Are The Only One and What If are in the mix but I am surprised (but also DELIGHTED) that it didn't do a bit better as I thought it was rather well liked (for some strange reason that I can't comprehend) for a novelty entry too.
