Here it is! I'm really enjoying it from my first few listens, a bit more lo-fi inspired compared to what we've had from them so far.
Interestingly, Parlophone offered to sign them for another album but they turned it down and created their own record label - so they are now completely independent. It also sounds like a new album will release this year, making it 3 in 3 years for them! |

Interesting interview with the NME out today, looks like they weren't happy with the ridiculous bundles they had for their last album! QUOTE “Our last record was called ‘Burn the Empire’. It was about all these social issues that were very important to us, and the record label was breathing down our neck to try and sell like, the Super Mega Family Bundle which was like, Ł150 quid for like 4000 cassettes. It just felt really wrong…It felt uncomfortable for us to be pushing that on our fans.” |

Their third album has officially been announced! 'Millenials' is out on Feb 24th, so they're currently looking good for a second #1 - and 'NPC' is out now.
I'm not sure about the name, it's a bit too on-the-nose, but so was 'Burn the Empire' I guess. 'Deep Diving' is out tonight... I wasn't sure how I felt about 4/10 tracks already being released for an album not out until February - but I see that the Deluxe has 13. Slightly better I suppose!
