I'm quite enjoying this on first listen, and it's been added to the Radio 1 playlist!

I'm not really feeling him this era which is a shame since I've liked everything he's done before. 'Sympathy' was pretty good I guess but nothing else has grabbed me at all, and I'm so unexcited about the album!

This new one is the best one since Sympathy, the stuff in the interim wasn't doing much for me. Glad I'm not the only one!

Was fully invested in his first 2 albums and music, nothing has stood out for me this era and I haven’t even bothered pre-ordering yet.

Really enjoying this from the first couple of listens, after not being wowed by any of the singles (hard to top any of the Zeros singles though).

Hope he manages to get #1!

Totally underwhelmed by this, easily his worst album to date!

This is the first album I've listened to in full from him (didn't have super high expectations for it but was just curious to see if there'd be any hidden gems as I grew to really love 'Mulholland's Dinner And Wine') - I think the singles for the most part are the best songs from it, not super keen on 'Sympathy' but 'Nothing Works' is fab and 'Elevator Hum' good too (had not heard any of those before listening to the album). A lot of the album tracks have a bit of an unfinished demo quality to them, similar to what I thought about the new Tom Odell album. Still a couple of standout album tracks though, 'The Phantom Buzz (Kick In)' was my fave, a bit of a banger. 'Mezzanine' was good too. Kind of a shame there weren't really any other songs that gave me the same vibe as 'Mulholland's Dinner And Wine', the chorus of that really throws me back to late 00s MGMT/Animal Collective.
