It's harsh on Leicester but they have been running on empty for weeks now- there was 10 points difference to Liverpool 10 games ago. Man Utd gifted them 3 points and I'm not sure if Man Utd played their full strength whether they would have got anything out of the game. But winning the FA Cup and finishing 5th is still a fantastic achivement. Keeping Tielemans and Ndidi this summer becomes much harder now.

Unfortunately I have been proved right but winning the FA Cup and finishing 5th is great.

Imagine sacking a club legend who won you 3 Champions League in a row plus a league title for a washed up manager who couldn't even finish above Leeds.

Could be a good result for Everton. Ancelotti's record is not really as elite as you'd expect how easily he walks into jobs.

He's a bit like Mourinho in that sense, living off VERY old past glories.

Ancelotti's departure from Everton to Real Madrid has been confirmed now. Real Madrid like bringing back managers that have previously left them, he was there when they won the Champions League in 2014. It's only downhill for Everton from here I think!

Thoughts on what happens to James Rodriguez next? laugh.gif My guess is he either forces a free transfer through or feigns injury until January rotf.gif

I do wonder if maybe this is why Howe turned down the Everton job. Sounds like Nuno is on his way to Palace, so possibly Howe to Everton? No way they get someone like Conte imo.

Surprised Nuno isn’t going to a bigger club than Palace!!

They got Nuno as favourite to take over at Everton.

Agreed Palace would be a massive step back for Nuno after what he's achieved at Wolves.

Everton makes a lot of sense specially if Spurs are so desperate to have Poch back.

A straight managerial swap with Roma then if so.

Fonseca would be an absolutely terrible appointment, he is a sacking waiting to happen in 12-18 months.

It completely reeks of Spurs not having a plan. Reading between the lines they wanted Naagelsman by all accounts, but they have been rejected by absolutely every single one of their targets since. Having a DOF instead of Levy will inevitably help longer term but this is a terrible appointment imo.
