But seriously, she is the biggest pop star and I just can't imagine jury/public won't vote for her!!!

Speaking of song it's just alright on a first listen but has a lot of room to improve.

I am hoping for the first time Albania will up their game with staging, performance and choreo...they never do enough justice to their songs!!!

Yeah, I just looked at the numbers for the others and she is already way ahead of everyone else.

I can see 12 from North Macedonia, Switzerland, Italy, Montenegro and 10's from Germany, Austria going to her...diaspora will vote for her like crazy this time!!!

The old Albanian jury is gone and in its place is a 3-member international jury apparently, 1 of which is Dimitris Kontopoulos. Will that work in Elvana’s favour, I hope! Although international juries have become increasingly unpredictable...

This will give the European gays what they really need. After a year of male-dominated Top 10 this should be a good shot at one of those spots.

Let's hope that some amazing ethnic BANGER is hidden among the competition however. I'd prefer that to go to Rotterdam over a kinda basic pop song.

I think Albania may be worth a cheeky bet (on the basis that this is the winner, one of the international jurors being Christer Bjorkman reassures me that they won't scupper the biggest star in the line up). Obviously we know very little about the wider field at this point but I can easily forsee a timeline where we're in late February and we're still yet to hear anything better than this.

To be honest if they screw up Elvana, then they can forget about their chances of having a top 5 hit.

I mean nothing guarantees that Elvana will do good but if you ask every albanian this was a dream come true for almost 10 years now.

Her career started mid 2000 and she still is more popular than ever!!!

Matter fact if you all remember Anjeza 'Image Of You' they were in the same Idol edition. Elvana got eliminated first on that season and Anjeza won and no one knows where Anjeza is now!!!

Puthe is why I remember her! Prefer it to Me Tana to be honest. Do like it but top 5 is very optimistic, I’d say tossup between left side and right.

Arilena is also sounding like potentially a good time if very much in line with what Albania normally do. Wouldn’t entirely say no to Gena either.

It’s going to be performed in English in Rotterdam BUT apparently the original version is in English so it might not be too bad.

I don’t mind “Shaj”, I thought it was the third best of the night, it’s just a shame to think of what could’ve been...and Era Rusi would’ve been my second choice, another bop that hasn’t received enough attention whilst we’ve all creamed over “Me Tana”.

Albania has a one-track mind, it's tortured sounding lady ballad and quite frankly I'm here and happy for it once again.

There are some genuinely good parts to 'Shaj', it's an above-par rep of an Albanian ballad, it could well do decently for them.

The thing that upset me the most is that we won't get Elvana anytime soon or ever again and THIS was their opportunity to send their biggest star.

Arilena is a type of star who would have comeback and give another shot 2 years from now!!!

And this is not Suus so it will never be as iconic!!!
