If there's stronger songs on the album then I'll be annoyed that she didn't lead with one of those instead of 'Say Something'. Maybe she's saving a bigger sounding song for the second single? I’ve heard ‘Say Something’ many times and still struggle to recall anything. It’s lacking a big chorus or something, just not a very memorable song. Radio 2 were always going to play it and Kylie fans were always going to buy it but ‘Dancing’ just had a broader appeal. It’s not just about promo. Saying that it performed well enough, reaching the top 100, I just think she can do better than this song |
