Anaconda doesn't need Radio 1 initially. Hopefully once it goes top 3 radios will begin playing it.

I still think Anaconda isn't getting playlisted simply because it's not a very radio-friendly song. It will still sell though because of her name and its novelty value (plus the hype it's been getting from the music video)

Welp, 'Anaconda' has been pushed back to the 13th of October apparently, which would explain R1 not playlisting it so far. Pretty sure they still will if that is the case.
