This week, the singer leaked some much-awaited news. Responding to a fan's Tweet, she said: "Yes. I'm so proud of my next album! Might have a special guest… Doesn't come until early next year."

Soon thereafter, she shared: "The high road can be a lonely place but I'd rather talk to my shadow than a mirage."

But she made it clear that the bleak thought referred to one of the upcoming songs – not her life as a new mom.

Speaking of, Clarkson also disclosed some pretty hilarious parenting tips. (Folks, don't try this at home.)

"Ran out of songs 2 sing while trying 2 put my little girl 2 sleep @ she finally nods off after 'Silly Ho' by TLC #shecantunderstandhtelyrics."

Wait, Kelly, that gives us an idea: How about covering "Silly Ho" on the new album?

Kelly is fantastic and always brings out brilliant tunes, still listening to her Greatest hits on my phone and loved her x-mas song Underneath The Tree, so very excited to hear some new stuff

Agree with all of these! I am so glad shes releasing material so soon - I expected it to be MUCH longer!
