Okay so I took a few weeks off this time. I'm finding myself with really little time at the moment so I can't promise these will keep being weekly, but I will try and post more often again! I miss not having such a busy job sometimes!
Anyway, this week makes Lika Morgan's second at the top with Holding On, her second charter. Lika brings a great throwback 90s-00s club sound in her music and has been doing well for herself on my personals this year. My current BJSC entry from LEON also managed a month at the top since my last chart, taking the record this year so far, and possibly altogether as its rare for acts to make more than 3 week runs for me. A few other BJSC faces are here this week too; Jillian Jacqueline finally squeaks in at the end, Eliza and the Bear still stick around, and Tom Ferry, my top pointer in the last contest, debuts a new track this week. This week's highest new entry of course, goes to the triumphant return of BLACKPINK, with a nice slice of unexpected all-out dance from Zara Larsson close behind. In terms of new entries this is an all change week with newies from, alongside the aforementioned, Ally Brooke, re-surging after the success of Low Key, Easyfun, Kerli, JLo, Pabllo Vittar, Gabriela Richardson and Røse, Una Healy, Two Door Cinema Club, Bossy Love, Fergie, indie band Life Model who I know personally (so support them pls!), Filous and Mat Kearney, Liam Payne, Great Good Fine OK (who you can see lately in my 2018 top 100 countdown too, still ongoing - I know ), Kiana Lede, Dorian Electra and Toto. On the topic of older tracks you'll also see Heart's excellent Barracuda charting thanks to its appearance in a key scene of Umbrella Academy, which y'all should check out too if you haven't already and are into scifi fantasy shows. We've also got some Eurovision in here with Tamta, and some BJSC potentials for me dotted among these tracks. As ever I've linked in my active spotify playlists too (now with my main embedded too, neat) so you can pretty easily check out some of these tracks in full and see what might be landing next week. 2019, week 15, then: 01 Lika Morgan - Holding On [29-5-1-1] 02 Armin Van Buuren ft. Interesting to see Lika Morgan #1 here, quite a few of hers have charted for me including 'Holding On' (though that was a while ago and I'm now into 'In Motion')
I like the Armin song at #2 also, more familiar with the original but just heard the remix that you're charting and that's great too. |

In Motion was the first of hers I heard, that has already peaked at #5 for me and then I got into looking at her other work! Go With the Flow will be charting soon too. As for Armin I was VERY tempted to BJSC that this month This post has been edited by JüperBass: 13th April 2019, 03:14 PM |

You could try it I guess but I think Armin is a borderline veto especially with Bonnie McKee on vocals who has had a few contest hits before.
Go With the Flow is also great! |
