It's a lot better now that I'm listening to it on my computer, the verses sound more quirky now but the chorus actually sounds weaker

So so much better than the half-assed Now. I think this could be a bigger hit for them too.

Prefer "Now" on first listen, this is decent but is basically just "Where The Lines Overlap" gone disco. The half-arsed verses of "Hello Cold World" are back as well but at least the chorus is more interesting.

I actually quite love 'Still Into You'. It's definitely their 'pop'-iest song. And after the mixed reaction from 'Now', I think FBR wanted this to boost the versatility of the album and how they still have the same Paramore feel. I quite like the verses. You get a sense of the story without it being too literal? I don't get the WTLO comparisons though. This is a lot more melodic than WTLO.

I'm loving Still Into You Much better than Now, which was pretty good anyway! Easily their poppiest song so far, and it's rightfully been released OA/OS. If radio get on board before it's too late, I think this could be their first top 10. It'll definitely outpeak Now anyway! It really reminds me of The Truth About Love by P!nk (but much better) actually, for some reason...

Still Into You blows Now out of the water. Still not as good as most things on their past 3 albums but I hope they can get something out of this.

Now is f***ing awful. This band is a massive guilty pleasure of mine, but Now is just terrible, seriously bad. I gave it a few listens, but it just does nothing for me at all. No hook, no catchy chorus, no sign of the old Paramore. I'm glad most people seemed to agree with me.
Really digging the new track though. Might tempt to me to check out the album now. It's infectious simple pop-punk with a catchy hook. Exactly what Paramore should be. Nothing more, nothing else! |

No catchy chorus? Really?
I agree that a lot of people seem to be against them changing their sound but I don't think anyone else thinks it's tuneless. By the way, Still Into You is really growing on me. As soon as the chorus starts to click it begins to sound fantastic. |

By the way, Still Into You is really growing on me. As soon as the chorus starts to click it begins to sound fantastic. I just listened to it again. The chorus is just uneventful. They try to be old Paramore with bigger productions. Just doesn't work. It's a messed up song imo to use as a lead single. The track has no identity, as it can't work out what it wants to be. It alienates people because the old Paramore fans are not crazy about it, it's trying to be something they're not. Just deleted Now off my Itunes anyway, and this is from someone that used to be quite a fan. |

I got into Paramore recently after listening to "Now", so far I've got their album Riot! and the single Now, I'm definitely going to check out more of their stuff, great band!

The 90 second previews of all the songs are on iTunes now. Currently listening to them now. Was going to get the album regardless of whether they were any good or not though.

Previews sound damn fine, although if you don't like either single it'll be a bit of a slog.

On first listen Now was pretty disappointing but it's growing on me a lot, it's like they're going back to their earlier style but keeping it more pop-orientated like their more recent stuff. Loving the previews so far

Previews sound damn fine, although if you don't like either single it'll be a bit of a slog. Some of them are really catchy, in particular 'Ain't It Fun'. 'Part II' sounds a bit like 'Let The Flames Begin' from RIOT! (well the start of the chorus does anyway ) I love the little interludes as well |

I never bothered with Brand New Eyes, but I might give this one a go. Part II sounds rather brilliant!

I'm actually quite surprised by how much I enjoyed listening to the album. The clips made it sound so underwhelming.
I love Future. I wish they added a bit more vocals to it though, especially during the build up. Hayley's soft vocal and that silence would've worked brilliantly. |
