22. The Waldo Moment (8 votes | 13.79%)



The Waldo Moment was partially based on the media's portrayal of Boris Johnson. In the episode, Waldo, a cartoon character, comes second in a by-election. In reality, Boris and the host of the Apprentice USA are amongst the leaders of the world. Maybe it's because it's bit too close to reality or maybe it's the execution but, despite the interesting concept that is certainly now a statement on today's political climate, the episode is always amongst the lower end of people's rankings. Even Charlie himself points this episode out as one of his biggest regrets and one where the stakes weren't high enough.

23. Metalhead (11 votes | 18.97%)



Metalhead is v arty in it's post-apocalyptic black and white world and the design of the metal dog is perfection buttt essentially it's 40 minutes of a woman being chased by a metal machine for ultimately no reason.

Shame to see Metalhead finish dead last, I really liked it and it was quite refreshing for Black Mirror! sad.gif

Went with Arkangel and Smithereens again, as well as Black Museum which, to me, is just a combination of so many different ideas that they probably didn't know how to flesh out into their own individual stories.

I quite liked Metalhead, certainly not my least favourite episode by any means.

Went for Men Against Fire (completely forgot to vote for more than one whoops)

Metalhead really didn’t deserve dead last, I think Waldo and MAF are both much weaker episodes

Smithereens for me. So dull. Save from good performances, there was no point in any of it.

I thought we were going to get a twist of him wanting the CEO to access that dead girl's account to delete her messages as he was the one who'd caused her to commit suicide and he was freaking out the mum would eventually figure out the password and find out. The actual ending just felt....nothingy.

Voted for Fifteen Million Merits (boring), Smithereens (not as good as the rest) and Ashley Too (Ashley O invented pop music etc but this episode was v bad lol)
