ITS HAPPENED. Jesy has left. Selfishly I’m gutted but I understand she needs to do what she needs to do.

Split the topic so I'm adding a bit more context to the opening post.

Absolutely devastated. She is such a star and is like the binding voice for the band. I know her mental health is so important but I’m struggling to imagine a single without her.

I think this topic needs its own thread?

What a sad situation. She understandably needs to look out for herself at this time and do what's best for her but it's an end of an era.

Omg that's so upsetting. Kind of thought it would happen but it sucks. Supposed to be seeing them next year as well 😭

My heart is broken. Jesy was always my favourite member purely because I loved her personality and her voice but I understand that she has to do what she has to do.

It's a very sad situation... They are continuing as a 3 piece.

Gutted for the band! Although she has been struggling for a while and she has achieved so much I can see why she has left at this point. It's best to put your mental health first no matter what! At least the remaining girls are determined to make it work!

Really sad news but not surprising given what we know.

I am encouraged by the lovely statements from the remaining girls and from Jesy. Clearly they are full of love for each other and it was a difficult decision to make. I hope they carry on for a bit longer than the next tour!

Braced myself for this but still upset. Hope she's okay.

The saddest part is how final it is. Sounds like there's not even a chance for her to return 😩

I wouldn’t worry about that. It’s not like the girls have fallen out as other members within a band have done previously. Jesy may just have a break and one day return when she feels better. It’s anyone’s guess.

I’m so gutted. It’s like an end of an era for us all as fans. I know the remaining 3 will make it work, but I fear it’s on borrowed time. Who knows.

All the best Jesy x

I’m incredibly sad that Jesy has lefft, she brought so much to the group as they all do, but of course mental health comes first and we have had 9 incredible years of Little Mix, I think we neeed to be grown ups about the situation and respect her decision, Jade, Leigh Anne and Perrie have been killing it recently with their performances, I really do think they can carry on a bit longer as a 3 piece but who knows, at this point now into their careers I think anything extra is a bonus.

What was their last four piece performance?

I’m so sad she left but happy for her at the same time. Everyone thought because she brought out the documentary that everything was fine but with her breakdown at Live Lounge, not being in the transitions for Sweet Melody and admitting she found it hard adjusting from lockdown back to the manic pressure of being in a girl band before it definitely seemed she was still struggling.

I love the other three girls but Jesy definitely was the ‘spice’ of the group - the least media trained one that was always hilariously swearing and being inappropriate and I do think she was the best performer. Her X Factor story was heartbreaking but probably a key factor in their popularity and why they won the show. She’s been an amazing member.

(I do think they’ll do the Confetti tour as a three piece then part ways after it though)

The Holiday/ Touch performance?

A shame we never got a 4 piece performance of Sweet Melody

I can't say I didn't see it coming, but hoped it wouldn't be the case.

She must be in a very bad way, bless her. sad.gif
