Here's how you can contribute to who gets the dub:





Your deadline: Thursday, 1 September 2022, at 23:59 BST Late votes may be accepted at the discretion of the host and his 8 hour time difference but they will receive a 15% deduction as a result. Non-voters will end up receiving a 33% deduction and a ban from the next contest, so take care that you do vote, or you might not end up fighting again next month.

UK suffered in Eurovision becsuse they put Poland right after them, and thr Polish singer started trying to sing like Sam Ryder!!! And the jury scandal to keep Lithuania and Ireland out of thr competition helped Spain, as there weren't any other pop-dance bops.

Yes I think I will go ahead with it tonight as no one has objected! (going to make a new SyncTube room as I don't think I have 'mod' powers for the playlist in the room uhsting created but I guess I'll be able to use this room when I host these things in the future x)

I've also voted. Another GREAT final, love everything in my votes and could have very happily voted for eight others. My top six are all 18 points quality, but I'm happy with the order I settled on.

Oops a little late to pointing this out but I think you have a remix of Tartford's song on here? (Unless that is the same version that is in the YouTube link, I'm not totally sure what the difference between the '12" mix' and the normal version is as they are a similar length)

This is, quite comfortably, the least I've enjoyed a set of songs in a final for a hell of a long time.

Judging from the draw and peoples comments I was hopeful that Semi 1 would be able to bulk out my votes to make 15 songs I quite liked, but honestly the qualifiers from that are even worse than mine which I was far from impressed with. Songs of the quality I'd normally discount before a final listen through of my favourite 20 or so are in contention for up to about 7 points here

I'm also of the opinion this final is a little underwhelming compared to others so far this year.

However I have gotten it down to exactly 15 I want to point and there are still 3 songs I'm really loving.

I have a pretty comfortable 15 (with some VERY good tracks at the top) but not much outside of that that I think I'll return to in this final, semi 2 was definitely one of the weaker semis this year and though semi 1 as a whole I enjoyed, a good portion of that didn't qualify.

I, conversely to the rest of this thread, think it’s one of the best finals of the year. Last content felt like it was just a never ending run of dance so the wealth of pop this time was very welcome!

Oops I've had my votes ready for a while but kinda forgot I hadn't sent them yet, sorry for being last minute ish but getting them in now x

This isn't a super strong final for me either but actually think it's a little better than last month's at least on reflection (I 'only' saved my top 13 from that contest to my 2022 songs playlist whereas I think I'll playlist 14 or 15 this time - most contests this year I've saved a few of my commiserations as well though so the last two contests are a slight downgrade).

Late votes don't get a ban if the host has indicated that they will accept late votes (which Cody did). Will just be a 15% deduction for late voters who have a song in the final.

Cody not giving any indication of when results will be yet is giving me war flashbacks from Unknown Pleasures though. ddd

Well... ummm... I didn't expect to be super mind-boggling busy on my actual birthday, and I didn't check this until late at night when I'm almost passed out 😵‍💫 I know some people are gonna be really mad at me for that and I'm sorry.

Thankfully the devs at work here seemed to have expected this issue. So while the server is at maintenance, I'm gonna give you guys the rest of the day, 3 September, to get your votes in and results will be the next day, Sunday. I hope that sounds good for everyone.

tbf i know this affects me but if results are going to be 48 hours after deadline, should countries still be deducted a percentage like i understand todays deductions but leniency on those who voted yesterday (even if it costs me)
