hot chip's 'need you now' is currently fav to win with several bookmakers, including π's own "Pi-maker" where the song has 3.14159/1 odds to win the whole thing.

so many people thought that 'play' was actually the best song. the top 2 was "incredibly boring" (The Guardian), "utterly lifeless" (Rolling Stone), "so horrifically inadequate that it left a sour taste of burnt toast and cat hair in my mouth for 3 straight days" (Pitchfork), "omg so terrible lol" (Popjustice).

Can't argue with the professionals. <3

"our primary goal is to finally get rid of the skype clique. do you think it's a coincidence that so many of them are currently winning bjsc? i am not buying it. there must be a conspiracy behind it. these people are far from innocent", said the PBJSCC representative yesterday at a press conference after the nation finally returned to the Top 3 after almost two years. "however, we are not going to achieve it by sending some bland crap which everyone eats up these days. i mean look at the reigning victor and the song that someone managed to score around 70 points more than us. it's terrible".
