Loos like we have some returns for Nadine Keller and Emma Harding. Things have been really quiet for Jay of late, even with whatever this marathon story is, so both of these being back will provide something for him to be involved with

Chelsea needs to be used a lot more than she is, very capable actress deserving of better storylines.

A couple of weeks aside, EastEnders has been on fire this year! Also, ratings wise, it’s the only soap to be up year on year. It’s very close to overtaking Emmerdale and isn’t very far from Corrie. I think at this rate, EastEnders could be, at least temporarily, top soap come the 40th anniversary next year. |

I'ts good that it's ratings are rising as I think it's head and shoulders above all the other soaps at the moment and has been for a while now.

Priya continues to knock it out of the park with the one-liners I'm also quite liking the look of her and Martin together, an unlikely pairing but it's been great so far

I am really intrigued to see how the 6 story will conclude as its totally unpredictable i have to say which is good. The best would be if it's long-running, no Keanu found via contrived circumstances, ans focuses on the effects long- tterm. The worst is if he's found and it all gets resolved with yuge drama, Linda or Denise leaving, or Nish or Dean rtc, and e eryone goes back to normal, situation resolved... That's also very typicsl and predictable for a soap. Long-running, never found is novel. Othereise, it becomes a copy of Desperate Housewives' storyline...almost down to the letter! |

I just think Yolande must be some sort of saint to just watch the rest of the family float away and leaving her to pick up the pieces seemingly alone. I mean, where is Patrick at the moment?

I know he's a child actor and so there's room to improve but some of the acting is cringe inducing when it comes to Denzel.

I don't mind Denzel as an actor (though many of the other teen actors are superior, but they're a very strong bunch at the moment and the likes of him, Avani, Nugget, Amy and Lily are creating some of the most watchable scenes currently!), I definitely think his storyline has been the highlight this week, and anything that puts Yolande front and centre is brilliant in my eyes.
I actually quite liked Ben's final scenes with Callum, they were both played well, just a shame this storyline's been a rushed mess in general. That, Whitney's ridiculous storyline, and anything Dean related are dragging the soap down right now in what's been a more mixed 2024 than the high quality last year reliably brought. |
