I have no doubt they can comeback with a good standard of track that equal or better the leaks

^ I completely agree.

As queen Siobhan said herself:

QUOTE
Loads of stuff has leaked but I don't really care. We can write a song in a couple of hours and it'll be great. We've also gone back to stuff we haven't listened to in years and thought 'that's a smash'. I'm never worried about the music with the Sugababes."

I've just started the topic over on the Pop forum, but Bananarama have covered 'Love In Stereo' for their forthcoming new album - which is also called 'In Stereo'. It's set for release in April, and Richard X has produced their version too.

Well, it's a great track that I doubt they're ever going to use for themselves even if they get around to it.

It’s a shame to see it sold on but there has been rumours that all the Ploydor material was lost when they parted ways. By now it was never gonna be used, they were always going to have come up with new material. Keisha’s a perfectionist and Mutya is bored before she’s finished a thought. 5 years on they would have new stuff for us

Honestly, wasn't this pretty much confirmed once James Arthur got the backing track of Too In Love?

I honestly wonder when the Sia track will pop up somewhere.

Sad as it is, I'm just happy their material is being released in an official capacity. This way the girls get paid/are credited for their writing, and as has been said, they were always going to have to start from scratch anyway - not a problem when we know full well what MKS are capable of on the music front. wub.gif

It's got to pop up somewhere, it's so generically Sia that anyone could be singing it. Them losing that one isn't a problem for me as it feels more like Sia feat Sugababes than a Sugababes track.

True, I like the track well enough but it's obvious it's a RedOne situation where Sia just tossed them a track she happened to be laying around rather than making an effort to write something for them. That's probably the case with the supposed Diane Warren track they recorded when in Los Angeles in 2013 (!).

There’s another two out there in general circulation

“Only You” and “Light Up”

Light Up is a fantastic track but Only You is just f***ing magnificent. Only You is right up there with Love Me Hard as the best of the leaks for me.

Honestly I’d struggle to put Flatline into the top 10. Such a baffling campaign

Well, they're now MM if anybody's interested...

Only You could've done well with a single remix to spruce up the production further tbh.

They trickled out in the Facebook group that popjustice hates but is the only reason we have any of these tracks at all.

I figured, but I don't have Facebook so... tongue.gif

I think it's funny that these are leaking at a seemingly glacial pace since they won't likely ever be used. Then again, people are still holding onto Spice Girls demos from when they were still "Touch", so... pirate.gif

The group is good at tracking things down and then spreading within it. Our ultimate aim is to get them all as there is quite a few people who have everything but won’t share.

Romantic Call looks like the next target for leaking

Does anyone remember what the Diane Warren track supposedly is? I'm most interested in that one since it has the biggest possibility of somehow being re-used somewhere...

lI can't remember the title of that one, but I'd love to hear it. Too Lost In You is such a bop.

Diane Warren is a bit hit or miss though tbh. It could easily be trash, still I think it + Victory (aka the Sia track) are among those who might be re-used in some shape which is why I'm interested...
