In for this. And very excited because I think I have a gem of an entry ready to go. Not sure I want to give too much away at this point (aside from the description: 'away from Séyetana's normal sound but still recognisably Séyetan') but I'm rather confident in it.
I'd shift all the posts Klum but that would put them ahead of your first post. Unless you want to point me to an older post of yours you don't care about being whisked away from its proper place, I can do some wizardry then.

Torn between a sort of foreign language (the vocalist switches between english and japanese throughout the song) rock song or an electro-rock track that is more rock than electronic but has a dark/grungy edge to it

I have a likely potential I think, not 100% it'll do that well but coming just after a top 3 hit eases my mind and allows me take a bit more of a risk~ I would describe it as Kate Bush-esque ;o

As for me, I have a few potentials - a couple are "pop bangers" and there's a couple of dance tracks, one of which contains sax. I'm leaning towards one of my pop bangers at the moment, we shall see if I still feel this way when confirmations opens!

Persephonia are going into another 'war on the English language' phase I think, as my entry this month is another foreign language one (heading to East Asia for the second time ) and my 2 other current potential future entries are both instrumentals. Yay.

Have a couple of risky potentials lined up for my return which I might send over January and February but does anyone want to weigh in and help decide which to prioritise? One is an instrumental, the other is dark and moody, neither are my usual thing at all and both will have pop fans turning their noses up in disgust

What BJSC really needs more of is rap tho tbh. Such an underrepresented genre in the contest.
We've already got a load of dance but I wouldn't complain with that either

My song this month is quite possibly the rockiest I've gone, it sounds heavier than it actually is in the intro though
The other song I was considering is even rockier again, maybe I will go with that next month 
Dan is right about rap though, I actually can appreciate a good rap song if its done right so I'd be interested to hear what those potentials are like tbh

I was so excited for this contest as I found a song I really wanted to send but am now a little thrown off as I found out the song (which I might still try to enter) might be vetoed and the artist has been entered before and I hate the idea of recycling as I'm all about the ~element of surprise~ these days...
