90's inspired? WHAT? NO.

The 90's produced like two good pop songs total. Horrible decade for popular music.

Well she said Amnesia, Quicksand and If You Seek Amy were early 90's inspired.

Britney's 7th studio album, rumoured to be called "B-Girl" is going to have an In The Zone feel.

According to RadarOnline, Britney finally finished recording "Work Hard", the music she worked on recently.

"Peroxide Blonde" was received by Britney today composed by Ke$ha and will be recorded later this week.

Lily Allen recorded the songs "Knowledge" and "Cabaret" for Britney too, and will be recording in early January. "Termomether" may be the flagship of the album. With that said, Britney heard and loved "2gether", so that might affect the future of "Termomether".

Songs already recorded:
- "Termomether" (2008)
- "Dirty Girl" (2009)
- "Radio Star" (2009) - R&B
- "B-Girl" (2009)
- "Work Hard" (2009)

To be recorded:
- "Blue Sky" - ballad composed by Katy Perry
- "Cabaret"
- "Peroxide Blonde" - composed by Ke$ha
- "2gether"
- "Knowledge"
- "Open Your Eyes" (Snow Patrol Cover)

It is unclear if the Lady GaGa will send "New York" for Britney

She will make a massive release in Europe, USA and South America, with Music Awards and Television Promo, but no World Tour.

Confirmed TV Promo:
Ellen Degeneres Show
VMA's 2010
The Late Show

Rumor on several songs from the new album

The site Addiction Britney would have had access to
proprietary information of Radar Online about the new
album of new material.

Besides confirming that B-Girl is the title of the album,
Britney recorded so far five songs - the most recent is
titled Work Hard. This week we have yet to record
Peroxide Blonde written by the singer Kesha.

British singer Lily Allen also had its share, composing
two songs, Knowledge and Cabaret, which will be
recorded in January.

The song Thermometer was chosen by Jive
Records
as the flagship of the album, however much
like Britney's song 2gether.

Other songs like Dirty Girl, Radio Star by R & B
and B-Girl has already been written. Others like the
ballad Blue Sky written by Katy Perry and
Open Your Eyes previously recorded by Snow Patrol,
will be recorded soon (listen to song).

It is important to stress that no information was confirmed
by the team, record or by Britney Spears. So for now,
everything is just a rumor.

Blackout was amazing music wise, it produced my favorite album of all time. Circus was good music wise, but in comparison to all her other eras the promotion sucked. Atleast Blackout has a valid excuse for the lack of promo. We only got 4 promo performances for the entire era, and that was only for the lead single and one included Circus. The tour was good, but the tour is NOT the promo I'm talking about, especially considering she only did an average of 3-4 shows a week.

but it's probably her most succesfull tour EVER!
it was the main focus for Circus!
I really do not expect promo crazyness a la In the Zone or "Britney" era anytime soon...or ever again TBH.
people need to accept that those days are pretty much gone...

still she's not the same Britney from 5-7 years a go...
she has new priorities now...kids, family...
she's not working 24/7 as she does not want to I suppose.
TBH I'll be happy if we get new and quality music every couple of years..
some kick ass perfomances will be just a nice bonus.

Go hard or go home.

Just my opinion. I'm not expecting alot of publicity, but when she does do something she needs to own it because she is BRITNEY SPEARS. Not Joe Blow. "Aw well that was okay smile.gif ".

Sorry my opinion. Circus era had an excuse she was getting back on her feet. I'm not going to make excuses for her anymore, she is a pop icon.

I think the 'Circus' era was more of an era for her to gain her confidence for performing again, and to give her that feeling back. I think we'll see quite a few performances next era. I just hope they don't blow it all on just the first single...

I agree with Tyler. People have been quite forgiving - the Blackout and Circus eras were below par promotion-wise because she was mental/recovering and people understood it. The public are bound to get fed up if she continues to think she can sell on name alone and put in lacklustre efforts. LOADS of popstars have had depression and/or children and manage to pull it out of the bag, and none of them are as iconic as Britney - therefore she needs to pull her finger out for the next album.

Look at Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey - they both recently released albums and put in minimal efforts beyond the first single and they've gone down the pan (in this country, if not worldwide). And they are probably two of the most iconic singers we have at the moment.

WORK (PUT IT IN).

Yep. Britney could do HALF of the quality promo she did from back in the day and I would be VERY happy. Her fans really aren't expecting much. If you are only in it for the music, ok. But I love her music and her, and lately she has been dissapointing me. I expect more from artists that have only been out for a year because Britney constantly underdelivers with everything she does. 'For The Record' is the only good promotion she has given us since 2004.

I agree with most of what you all have been saying. She did do other small tidbit promo stuff like David Letterman and Ellen but it wasn't really album promotion and most of that was still near the beginning of the era as well. Pretty forgettable for the most part.

I'm mostly expecting some more promo performances during this next era or at least some bigger type promo. One would think this would happen considering, from the sounds of it, there won't be a tour to promote this next album. So either we get quite a bit of of decent promo for this era, hopefully throughout most of the era and not just at the beginning, or I'm sure people will start to get really fed up and disappointed.
