Hello! Welcome to the voting stage of the seventh edition of Nuggets! Over the past two weeks an entire 30 of you have confirmed a song that you think is going to be better than everyone else's. It's time to find out which of you that is actually true for as you judge the songs listed below.

You have until 23:59 on 06/10/2016 to submit your votes. Even if you didn't enter, feel free to participate in voting, If you did confirm a song you must vote otherwise your entry will receive a 12 point deduction and its very unlikely the deadline will be extended at all

Well, it's not exactly a bad idea.

Kamelot again YAY (their last song deserved everything so hopefully this is as good) and GARNiDELia showing up is very surprising

Honestly this contest is pretty great, it covers so many bases under the rock umbrella, I really cant call a standout winner atm because anyone could snatch it really *.*

One of my potentials for BJSC has cropped up though and another band I've had on my radar for quite some time too so I'm hoping they do well

It's easiest for me to organise my scoreboards/vote reveals in the order I receive them so if you wanna be announced early, vote asap

I was thinking, I don't think this has been a thing in the past (I've only done like 2 of these contests before this one right enough so I could be wrong) but if I made up a sort of BJSC style odds/predictions/predicta all in one thread for this, would people actually be interested in that? We could call it Fries since it's an add on to the main event, much like Nuggets with a side of Fries

Why is this called Nuggets tho? Is it supposed to be like a reference to discovering a golden nugget or something or am I just missing the point completely

I'm guessing it's to describe nuggets like the gold kind (not the cereal even tho that's great) so a discovery of some musical 'gems' or 'nuggets'.

Possible change to Thursday, would that still work? Jacob said in the plug thread that he can't do Friday but if more people can make it that night then obviously I'll stick with that

Well as long as people aren't like "this is my 12 pointer for sure" then there shouldn't be a problem, of course you can discuss which songs you like though and which ones you don't just don't make it obvious which way your votes are going to go (or which song is yours)

but yea again, Thursday or Friday?

hopefully tonight but I've never made an MP3 pack before and apparently it's not as simple as I though, I've tried a couple of times already without success but I'm gonna shove everything into iTunes and do it that way today and hopefully that will work

Guys, the MP3 pack is coming (ZippyShare says 25mins to upload ) I spent a good few hours trying to get this to work and I'm still not convinced I've done it correctly but I tried :') I downloaded everything and then opened them all in iTunes then went through and edited the info for each one so they appear under a 'Nuggets 7' album but then when I went into my iTunes Music folder it wasn't there so I ended up copying and pasting the album from iTunes into a ZIP file but the tracks were coming up with their download titles and the order was messing up so I went through each one again and renamed it so at the very least they're in the order they should be within the folder and should keep their order if then opened in windows media player or whatever

I'm hoping that if you open it in iTunes it should come up like an album but idk, I'm sorry if it doesn't

You do still have a few days but I'd really appreciate it if you didn't all leave it until Thursday night as I've got my college graduation followed by a night out that day and would rather not have the majority of the spreadsheet and scoreboards to do on Friday ft. a likely hangover

My top 2 (and maybe even 3rd/4th) are definitely up there with the best discoveries I've ever had from Nuggets Beyond that this wasn't that vintage a contest to be honest but still a good few other pretty fab songs ~

That's what I'm excited for revealing more than anything tbh, there's a few that are very in line with people's general taste so won't be too surprising but for the most part I think people have ventured out their usual comfort zone a little. There's also quite a few songs you'll think it's definitely someone in particular but then it's not actually them

Anyone got any ideas about who could storm this?
