It really makes me sad, knowing how much The Saturdays have flopped with On Your Radar. I know their promotion was limited. It seems that as things progress The Saturdays are becoming less relevant. I mean look at their airplay, they've not exactly been supported, We can not excactly blame My Heart Takes Over as it actually was a really good ballad, had it became a hit everyone would be like "omg MHTO was amazing choice"

They just need the right track to come back with, and a perfect marketting campaign (I'm not talking about promotion).

Worked in the very loosest sense for Wynter Gordon
But yeah, it would be good for them I think. |

i think if they do record something new that would bode well for them internationally as well as in the UK 'Higher part 2' would be great! Although it could just be that they want to release Higher there and need some form of permission from Flo or want to shoot a new video (un-neccesary though).
i hope we get a new single soon, but I doubt we will till May (in line with Notorious release) which would give Una a bit of time off before she has to actually promote. Then a summer re-release in July/August with a second single would probably be the best way to play it now. I think releasing an original OYR song would just be a big flop now, and the press would also lap it up. A party anthem or great pop upbeat song is all that can save the sats now. |

There's no re-release. It's a new album.

There's no re-release. It's a new album. There's no official confirmation on what they're doing so let's not jump to conclusions. If you're going by what Capital said, then that's not reliable since they'll just be guessing and they take news/rumours from various other gossip sites. |

I was going to say M.I.A., but she would be XXXO Yeah, Gossip Girl is all I can think of, maybe they're doing a One Direction and performing/appearing on a well known show before release?

A performance on Gossip Girl would be amazing. I guess the documentary is looking good aswell.
I am so excited for them The thing is that their not just in LA for a few days, it's weeks. Una's still writing songs with artists aswell while they're away! This post has been edited by lee wallace: 17th February 2012, 10:31 PM |

hmm I doubt they would film a video without Una in - especially to launch stateside. that would be so sad for her!
I think a tv appearance is the most likely, along with a new single for international release or Higher being released in America. They could also benefit from some Disney exposure, although getting in with E! is a good start too. I would LOL if they actually become bigger in the US than they are in the UK!!! |

Seems obvious there was some truth in the news about a reality show with E! I guess they'll launch the TV show with On Your Radar being sort of a soundtrack. The new recordings would serve as an addition to an 'International Edition' of the album.

It seems like it COULD go OK for them perhaps I shan't hold my breath though, girlgroups really aren't flavour du jour right now.

I would like to know the US label they are singing too.
Who knows maybe their new single will be released in the USA soon? Before it does in the UK? This post has been edited by lee wallace: 18th February 2012, 10:27 PM |
