It could be a third week at #1 for SAINt JHN, depending on whether The Weeknd is still on ACR... Little Mix's Break Up Song may return them to the top 10, while Dua Lipa looks to score another big chart entry with Break My Heart. Other new releases include PARTYNEXTDOOR & Rihanna with Believe It, Skepta/Chip/Young Adz with Waze, Kygo/Zara Larsson/Tyga with Like It Is, KSI with Poppin and Bob Dylan with Murder Most Foul Following the slow burning success of her debut, Dua Lipa looks to claim a first #1 album with Future Nostalgia. High debuts expected for 5 Seconds of Summer's fourth album CALM, Pearl Jam's eleventh record Gigaton and Skepta's collaboration with Chip and Young Adz on Insomnia. Other new releases include Brian Fallon, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Joyner Lucas, Little Dragon and Waxahatchee Breakdown of the week - Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative. - Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners. - Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm - Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one. - Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed. - Thursday: See Tuesday. Other notes (please read) - You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod). - Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue. - Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. - To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads. |

Those numbers have to be fake. 5SOS opened with 16k for their last album, why would out do that in just 2 days with poorer performing singles?

Not sure about the sales but I wouldn't be entirely surprised if 5SOS were ahead of Dua Lipa at this stage. Hopefully Dua's streaming advantage can push her ahead.

Something doesn't add up with those sales, mind you Amazon are not sending orders out for new music releases. And without a source, I imagine somebody could easily made those sales up considering if someone is bored as hell been stuck indoors.

5SOS have a bundle of 4 signed cassettes available so that's probably helped as well as numerous other bundles, and they've got more of a core fanbase than Dua Lipa to actually buy them. If those numbers are true, I expect Dua to VERY easily catch up, 5SOS will be way more frontloaded.

I'm not lying. They had 17K of pre orders.

I totally expected Skepta to be Duas main competition not 5SOS.
I’m definitely expecting Dua to outsell 5SOS each day this week now and have better streaming too. Even if this doesn’t go to #1 it’s gonna be a long runner in the top ten and probably stay top 40 until end of the year. |

I will be waiting for an official information/source because there's something that doesn't make sense with these numbers to be honest.

Does one full stream of an album equate to 1 sale? Or does it work the same as with individual tracks?
