The video is too druggy I think, but the song is literally amazing!

Can't get over how good this sounds in a club. AMAZING. Still not bored of it either, sounds as fresh as it did the first time I heard it!

They played this as a warm-up at the Britney gig I went to last week and it sounded truly amazing. I'm still not properly won over though. I am amazed at how fantastically it's done so far. She just gets bigger, it's RIDIC.

67. Rihanna [ft. Calvin Harris]
"We Found Love" [Def Jam] As much as Rihanna's highly publicized private struggles and darkly domineering performative persona have shaped her into a compelling pop figure, she still makes one hell of a cipher. Musically, the Calvin Harris-produced smash "We Found Love" is pure house hedonism, and it calls for a singer who can surrender herself in equal measure. But here's the thing: If it were just some no-name vocalist blissfully exhorting, "We found love in a hopeless place," ad nauseum, then it wouldn't be half as effective, because the surrender wouldn't mean anything to us; it wouldn't feel earned. She may not be as outsized a personality as Lady Gaga or Beyoncé, but right now Rihanna's making the entire pop world bend to her whims, and if this song is powerful enough to make her lose herself, then the rest of us don't stand a chance. --Josh Love, Pitchfork |

My Review
GRADE - 10/1 When I first heard this song I was like this is good but not the best but with everytime I listen to this song I love it even more. Chorus is great but the verses are even better, her voice is just amazing in there absolutely blowned off I am. So I'm very glad that it stayed as no. 1 in UK for 3 weeks then lovely Professor Green and Emeli Sande took the UK crown for 2 weeks but gave it again to Rihanna and Calvin Harris for them to rule again to another 3 weeks. About the video I love the video even more for this song, It's absolutely amazing. The locations and photos are great and the story behind it the whole poem about loving someone I think she wrote it of her heart. the English Boxer who plays as her boyfriend/ husband he's absolutely great actor too. It's my 2nd favourite Rihanna song ever nothing can beat good old classic Russian Roulette but this even better than Only Girl (In The World) who made me really fall in love deeply with Rihanna MC Handsome |

This just doesn't get old...still as in love with it now as I was on first listen.
Definitely surpassed 'Hard' as her best song for me. And it's by far my most played song ever... |

SAME CREMEY. 'What's My Name', 'We Found Love' and 'Umbrella' are her three best songs for me, all three are completely timeless imo and so feel good too.

Weird Pensioner Clown Gene Simmons: Rihanna Is F*cking Karaoke!! You know that weird old creep that paints his face black & white and sticks his vile tongue out at every opportunity he can as that's the only way that anyone can somewhat recognise him?? Well he had an old man rant at his band KISS's press conference about how sh*t their doing and how Rihanna is the b*tch to blame: "We’re sick and tired of girls getting up there with dancers and karaoke tapes in back of them. No fake bulls***." "No disrespect to Rihanna, she’s a great singer, but we’re in a slump for some s*** that has some personality and appeal beyond a bunch of pop stuff that’s floating around out there" Look old man Rihanna's not to blame for you being the dregs of the charts, its because your f*cking 69-years-old and still dressing like clown!! Please keep your nasty ass tongue in your mouth... no disrespect . http://whitneyee.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/weird-pensioner-clown-gene-simmons.html |

There was some payola for We found love on Spotify, it was very high up on NYE playlists. Bodes well she might actually be releasing something this year.
