Still a year away but the first image of Eddie Redmayne has been released from this Harry Potter spin-off!



Hardly know anything about the book but it's from the Harry Potter universe so exciting!! biggrin.gif I'm sure Eddie will be excellent as well.

I swear this was just a text book with no storyline? I remember getting this book when it came out for comic relief/CiN when i was younger.

It is essentially an encyclopedia of magical beasts and information about them so not sure how they've managed to create a whole film around that.

I didn't release JK Rowling had written the script. I'm far more excited for this now!

On a separate note, who else has tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child? I'm so excited but they're for December 2016! laugh.gif So long to wait.

It's not even a whole film as far as I'm aware, sure I read they're planning a trilogy out of it with releases in 2018 and 2020? laugh.gif

Not yet, not sure what my other plans would be like so far in advance, but I'll definitely be wanting to go!! I'm a bit hesitant about both the movie and the play but we've got to trust in JK.

Hype has increased by 10000%, I'm already so excited to have our wizarding world back and it looks like more goodness from that teaser. I love the shot of Eddie Redmayne shooting the spell, looks really fantastic - enjoying the inkling of storyline they've given us too, interesting concept (reminds me a bit of Pandora's box).

I'm not the hugest Redmayne fan but he looks good in it and the film looks fun. They're clearly holding a lot back though. Hopefully the first "proper" trailer is a bit more epic.

GAAAAH, I'm just SO excited for this now. Got my tickets booked for tomorrow night, couldn't miss this on opening day! Every clip and review I'm seeing is getting me more hyped, so glad it seems to be getting a positive reception. I do hope it turns into a mega hit, and isn't too much lower than the rest of the HP franchise in terms of box office.
