Blossoms would be a great if obvious winner, have to love a song that makes such a cool historical reference while still being very catchy.

Yay for results, I don't expect I'll do well but it's definitely my favourite Nuggets entry so far so I'm intrigued to see who'll point it.

So the final votes were from grebo, who I've just noticed has voted for Potty Mouth, his own entry, whoops! Luckily, it's only one point so A) it doesn't really make a difference to anything and B) he can't have liked his own entry much!

So a Blossoms win in a closely fought contest, congrats to JSG! Kid Wave climb into the top 3 ahead of Crystalyne which was unlucky given only two songs received fewer votes. Sleep Machine and The Bright Light Social Hour climb into the top half. Vacationer and Dungen both lose 4 places with 12 point deductions, the former falling to last place. 25 points for last place seems like a respectable score for all songs to me!

Thanks to Seven for lifting me out of the bottom 3 at the last minute (and amaze entry from yourself, too low down ugh) <3 I'm content with that placing given the type of song it was. I don't love black metal often (certainly not nine minute long ones!), but there was something quite melancholic and beautiful about Golden Number, idk I'm glad a few others liked it anyway!

Great winner from JSG, congrats! Also great to see Cheerleader and Lescop in the top 5.

Yikes, I'm glad I left instead of watching my entry plummet from 2nd to 13th! 13th is very much where I expected though, I'm thrilled a few people like it and am glad I thought to send it here since it'd have no chance in BJSC or even UP.

Just learned this evening that Rainy Boy Sleep, aka Stevie Martin, was found dead aged just 29. RIP.
