I am doing the same! So excited for this, probably the most excited I have ever been for a TV series in a long time actually .

I've also been watching season 1 again, I'm on the finale which I'll watch tomorrow. I have to agree this is the most excited I've been for a TV show in ages, there are so many exciting things still to develop for so many of the characters and still so much to resolve!
I've decided to pace myself and watch it over the weekend instead of binging it on Friday, savour it! If it's anywhere near as gripping as season 1 though that'll be a challenge. I accidentally read spoilers for the first episode Pensatuckey is fine, but Piper gets put in SHU for a few years, just for this episode she gets transferred to a Chicago prison to testify in the trial of Alex's boss in the drug cartel, when she comes back to Lichfield she's very much a "lone wolf" |

Just re-watched the first season. Forgot how good this show was. Second time round though I did find myself emphasising much more with Alex and alot less with Piper, but I still like her. We all make a lot of mistakes and it is good that the "heroine" of the show isnt portrayed to be perfect or whatever. Excited to see how everything develops, like Liam said a lot of things were left open at the end of the first season.

I was gonna watch an episode or two before bed but I think it's at midnight EST (or whichever time zone they use for US shows idk) that it's out not midnight our time, so I think it's about 8am our time. It's frustrating because it's almost like the closer the time is the further away it feels
EDIT: yep it's 8:01am UK time, Netflix UK tweeted it. |

I've watched the first 2 episodes, so far so good, enjoyed the second one more though. Trying not to watch all in one go but we shall see how that pans out.

I got through episodes 1-4 earlier, it's lucky I had to go out or I'd have probably binge watched like 10 episodes I'm gonna try and stagger it across the weekend.

I'm done
I won't say anything more than how amazing the ending was! This season was just as good and gripping as season 1. |

I'm halfway through and it's getting a lot better after a shaky first couple of episodes...
I'm missing the consistent humour of the first series tho' |

Amazing ending to season two (and one, I've watched all of both in the past week). I think during the middle of season two there was far too much focus on Vee's gang and the race division but overall it was just as enjoyable as the first for me.

There was far too much focus on the black women this season, and I'm so disappointed at how they portrayed Crazy Eyes this season. Really disliked her for nearly all of the episodes, shame because she was fantastic in season 1.
Piper remained amazing though, and THAT ENDING WAS JUST PERFECT. |

The only problems I had with the series were:
- Black Cindy was seriously irritating, it's like they saw Taystee was popular and wanted a fifth rate copy. - Crazy Eyes was ruined, I don't get the mindless following of Vee, I kinda had a theory that Vee is her mother but she wouldn't know surely? Maybe she just thought Vee was her mother or has "mommy issues" and loved the thought if Vee as a mother figure. - I still need to know what Red did to get put in Litchfield |

Did you not think Red was a bit... idk, less feisty than she was in season 1? There was something about her that was a bit tamer. Suppose it was nice to see her vulnerable side, but she could have been better.

I liked that personally, that was the natural path for her I think!
