The song was a moderate success as it was another Top 10 hit for Nicki in the UK, peaking at #08 and also peaked at #15 in the US. It was also a Top 10 hit in Australia, Canada, Finland, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand and Scotland! I absolutely loved it at the time and it is still a lot of fun, helped by the iconic lip sync to it by Monet X Change on RuPaul's Drag Race. Hooray for 'Pound The Alarm' finally going after I'd been voting for it since the very beginning - it was always just an incredibly weak and much more annoying clone of 'Starships'.
I do really like all 4 songs remaining now so we did pretty good in the end! It's close for me between 'Super Bass' and 'Va Va Voom' for my least fave of these 4 but will vote for the latter for the best chance of 'Moment 4 Life' making the top 3 x |
