On the back of Labour MP Austin Mitchell going on a rant about all-women shortlists and the "feminisation" of the House of Commons:

Sadly the likes of Austin Mitchell are still all too common in the party. Good riddance.
But yeah, it still has a huge problem. The ACTUAL old boys club obstructing pretty much any parliamentary reform that'd make the House more family friendly because they still love the idea of having an 11pm sitting while sloshed are a total disgrace really. |
