YES, well done Jade for your win on your first try and with a beaut of a song - it's so easy to listen to and had a 'familiar' vibe, like I'd already heard it somewhere before (don't think I had though).
NO, my 12 getting a deduction! Another member winning Nuggets on their first time entering, there's quite a few of us IIRC. 'Lauren' is your middle name too isn't it?  Pleased to see Japandroids make the top 10 too! (Also +1 to hoping that was dhwe's 12-pointer if he'd voted) I'm happy enough with 17th for Chronic Future, it's not my favorite Nuggets entry but one I hoped would be a good discovery for some, and it was! I was getting ready to swear at you all after that start. Praise be for Bre! I figured I'd be super obvious as if nothing else, the consentes Dei lyrics were in my member title for ages. Decent result for a song I adore given after my BJSC result I expected more snubs.
Well done Jade and pleasing to see After Forever doing well, they're such a good band that Nightwish pinched their lead. |
