Two weeks ago, "Road" rewrote the mark for the most time atop the tally, as, with a 17th frame at No. 1, it bested "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, featuring Justin Bieber, and "One Sweet Day" by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men, which ruled for 16 weeks each, in 2017 and 1995-96, respectively. Elsewhere in the latest Hot 100's top 10, Ariana Grande and Social House launch at No. 8 on the chart with "Boyfriend." "Road" set the record for the top streaming week (143 million) following the April 5 arrival of its remix solely with Cyrus (who has been billed on 18 of the song's 19 weeks atop the Hot 100) and claims nine of the 11 biggest streaming frames to date, including the top three. "Road" concurrently spends a 15th week atop the Digital Song Sales chart, with 34,000 downloads sold, down 28%, in the week ending Aug. 8. The track boasts the second-most weeks logged atop the list, trailing only "Despacito," which ruled for 17 weeks. On Radio Songs, where it reached No. 2, "Road" falls 17-21, down 11% to 38.5 million audience impressions in the week ending Aug. 11. Meanwhile, "Road" leads the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts for a record-breaking 19th week each, breaking out of a tie for the longest command in the history of each ranking. On Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, the track bests the 18-week domination of Drake's "One Dance," featuring WizKid and Kyla, in 2016. On Hot Rap Songs, "Road" passes the 18-week rules of Drake's "Hotline Bling" (2015-16); Iggy Azalea's "Fancy," featuring Charli XCX (2014); and Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott's "Hot Boyz," featuring NAS, EVE and Q-Tip (1999-2000). Elsewhere, "Bad Guy" becomes Eilish's first No. 1 on the mainstream top 40-based Pop Songs airplay chart, as it spends a second week atop Alternative Songs. Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's "Senorita" stays at No. 3 on the Hot 100, after debuting at its No. 2 high on the chart dated July 6; Lizzo's "Truth Hurts" is steady at its No. 4 best; and Khalid's No. 3-peaking "Talk" keeps at No. 5, while leading Radio Songs for a ninth week (127.2 million, down 2%) and Hot R&B Songs for a 16th week. Chris Brown's "No Guidance," featuring Drake, repeats at its No. 6 Hot 100 peak and Ed Sheeran and Bieber's No. 2-peaking "I Don't Care" is stationary at No. 7. Ariana Grande and Social House soar onto the Hot 100 at No. 8 on the chart with "Boyfriend." The collab begins at No. 2 on Digital Song Sales (31,000 sold, also good for a No. 1 bow, marking Grande's sixth leader, on Pop Digital Song Sales); No. 7 on Streaming Songs (25.9 million U.S. streams); and No. 40 on Radio Songs (24.6 million in audience). Grande achieves her 14th Hot 100 top 10, having nearly doubled her total in just over a year; "No Tears Left to Cry" debuted at its No. 3 peak on May 5, 2018, and "Boyfriend" marks her sixth top 10 since (a sum tied with Post Malone for second-best in that span, after Drake's 13). I guess 'Blackstar' would be the record for the UK (made #61 following his death) then, as 'Fear Inoculum' is very unlikely to chart here. I thought Ariana would have the shortest record for 'Raindrops (An Angel Cried)' which is 38 seconds, but as it turns out that only made Bubblin Under. |

Actually, I've just remembered the UK record was the 40 minute 'Blue Room' which The Orb deliberately made as long as possible without breaking the chart rules, although there was a 4 minute version available to buy as well.
As for songs without (official) radio edits the one you mentioned may be it though. There was also the 15 minute Oasis interview that charted in the 90s but I don't count that as a song. |

Quite amazing that 'Fear Inoculum' was able to make it onto the Hot 100 with only a few days of tracking! Also kind of surprising that there hasn't once in the history of the Hot 100 been a 10 minute song charting for even a week (I did already know that as I do remember 'Blackstar' breaking that record but still), especially considering that 2 of the 7 songs listed as the longest Hot 100 entries were really big hits!
Wasn't sure if Billboard were going to allow Drake's songs onto the chart this time but I see they took the same decision as the OCC that they count as new songs as they've only just been commercially released. According to Wikipedia that now makes him the second artist to get to 200 Hot 100 hits and he was only a handful more songs making the cut away from overtaking Glee Cast for the record (Glee on 207, Drake on 203). He'll have the record very soon. Glad to see 'Days In The East' was one of the songs that made the cut for him although a little weird that '4PM In Calabasas' missed out when that was the 2nd highest track from 'Care Package' in the UK! Would also like to apologise for questioning Billboard's ability to see into the future when 'Worth It' didn't drop out of the chart 4 weeks ago, with it finally making the top 50 this week. 'Talk You Out Of It' also looking like it might do the same (but I'm curious as to when it'll finally be removed from the chart if it never does, I assume it'd be after it's been declining for a couple of weeks rather than just letting it stay on indefinitely until it naturally leaves the top 100?) |

I'm not sure if it's had a bullet every week since it became recurrent-eligible, but country radio is predictable enough that Billboard knows it will keep gradually climbing and re-peaking until it's finally #1 on country radio (and then its airplay will immediately plummet and the label moves right on to the next single - more than you needed to know but yeah), so no sense in removing it prematurely. |

I guess 'Blackstar' would be the record for the UK (made #61 following his death) then, as 'Fear Inoculum' is very unlikely to chart here. I thought Ariana would have the shortest record for 'Raindrops (An Angel Cried)' which is 38 seconds, but as it turns out that only made Bubblin Under. 'Wibbling Rivalry' by "Oas*s" is 14:32 and made it to #52 to in 1995. It's 15 mins of Liam and Noel arguing

Billie was pushing 'bad guy' hard on social media on the last day of the streaming tracking week (and released a new 'vertical video') which indicates she might have been super close to #1. Wouldn't be surprised if that was enough for her to sneak a week at #1 now then, although I think it'd be more interesting if she matches/beats the record for most weeks peaking at #2 so I hope not.
