Yeasayer, Brown Eyed Girls, Twenty One Pilots and Grimes are helping that quite a bit. Oh and Spectre which is just addictive, I missed it all of last year and only now when Faded is getting a bit of hype do I notice it.

The thing is, Spectre is pretty much the same as Faded but with no vocals and a more aggressive and exciting instrumental. I'll probably chart Faded next week but for now I definitely prefer Spectre. Flesh Without Blood is probably the first Grimes song I could really really like, her solo material has always been lacking a little bit for me, good but I always feel she could have been better. FWB is better though.

The highlight of the Eurovision season so far, Avantasia's Mystery Of A Blood Red Rose enters the top 5 along with entries from past favourites The 1975, Against The Current and Danny L Harle as Broken Flowers goes strong on the re-release (I shall have to check if I ever charted it before, I did, but it only reached #25 off the back of BJSC). edit: oh wow it's my CHART being my 19000th post.

Grimes has been a bit of a weird one for me for a while now, I never thought anything I'd heard before had been that great and so I never really searched her out but this time round, Flesh Without Blood, Kill Vs Maim, Belly Of The Beat, they're really hitting me and I'm loving it, especially Kill Vs Maim which is a plethora of wonderful sounds. Seems to be the album that's converting me.

That and the beautiful totally not culturally appropriating video. St Lucia holds strong at #3 while 2-week #1 Grimes has to settle for dropping slightly to #4. Avantasia continues to hold strong and completes the top 5. The highest new entry is this week's unlikely collaboration, Primal Scream and Sky Ferreira, providing a very interesting rock tune to sate that part of my interests.

It's so very easy to put on and jam out to for the next few minutes. Some days I'm not sure which I prefer. I discovered it about a week before Faded started smashing.
