I love the song too and I love the video of Bodies with a very sexy Rob. To be honest I love RKTVS and the Electric Proms. When Rob came back 2010 i Thought his reign will be still very long and I loved Progress afterwards. Since then there is not that much which made me enthusiastic anymore

Nine years wacko.gif

That performance at XF - I felt like I was going to physically combust - I was so excited at seeing him live again after three long years.

He's achieved some amazing things since that "comeback" both professionally and personally but very much kept his feet on the ground. I was really worried at the start that he would just disappear again but I don't think that is going to happen anymore. I think he'll always be around in some form or another - hopefully always moving forward with new ideas.

My wish for him is that the album he says he is going to release next Christmas is along the same lines as the songs he's playing from UTR3. He's obviously really happy with that sound. Anything rather than middle of the road. happy.gif

Are they good? I have not listened yet as I am not such a fan of the vlogs.I agree Laura. I think that with his family responsibility to grant them the good lifestyle came and he knows that in these days that means being in some way in the limelight. I am wondering if teddy will be private now again or if she will get some children contract of whatever fashion. She seems to like the attention

I like the blogs Elisabeth, I am a member of Upfront but rarely go there so pick up bits & pieces from the blogs

I think R & A are quite conservative as they can be given the business they are in when it comes to home life & the kids so it's hard to know really

Bodies was/is a great song.

I'm glad he still performs it on tour. It deserves to be aired and not just forgotten about.

It was mine too, I really enjoy it even to this day. It’s one of those records you can just play from start to finish and not skip any.

Bodies is a great tune, lyrics are...well, I like it. Morning Sun, You Know Me, Superblind, Decepatcon. Very underrated album ( I like it better than TTC, SBW and the UTR volumes...but that’s just me).

I find the lyrics really clever in Deceptacon and Blasphemy. I really like the word play in Blasphemy too. TTC has some good tracks but I think Reality feels more cohesive as an album.

Swings Both Ways is one of my favourite Robbie albums too, but I like that for other reasons.

Love the story he tells here.

It was the last song Robbie & Guy wrote together in 2002 before they broke up , some lyrics, eh !!

The Egyptians built their pyramids
The Romans did what they did
Now everything's come down to this
It's just you and I, our kin!

We could send a million to the moon
But why can't I get on with you?
Cellophane around my mouth
Stops the anger sipping out

Our deaf and dumb dinners
Gravy in the mud
No singles, just fillers
Sometimes I wish I could
But I can't behave

I know it's not the heathen in me
It's just that I've been bleeding lately,
Internally
Don't turn to me,
Bite your tongue, the torrid weapon
You could learn a useful lesson

What's so great about the Great Depression
Is it a blast for you?
Blasphemy

Words cut like a knife through Vaseline
You can't really mean what you mean
When you say what you say
So tourettes make them come out that way,
Wish I was here well I wish you weren't
Your gift of anger's better burnt
If nothing's said then nothing's learnt
I though I wasn't but I'm really hurting

Our deaf and dumb dinners,
There's gravy in the mud
And I can't behave
No, it's not the heathen in me
It's just that I've been bleeding lately,
Internally

Don't turn to me
Bite my tongue, the torrid weapon
We could learn a useful lesson
What's so great about the Great Depression
Was it a blast for you,
Blasphemy

A great adventure Christmas in the snow
Senile Dementia maybe, what a way to go
I can't behave
I know it's not the heathen in me
It's just that I've been bleeding lately,
Internally
So turn to me
Bite your tongue, your torrid weapon
We could learn a useful lesson
In a greatness great depression
It's not a blast for me,
It's blasphemy
