Had no idea how this would go down because i've only heard 'I Bet' from it, but i'm thoroughly impressed. It's up there with 'Ciara' already!

'Give Me Love' is my standout favourite - absolutely brilliant, but there are loads of highlights. 'One Woman Army' too *.* She's brought it again wub.gif

I'm disappointed at the complete lack of slow jamz, I wanted a Ride pt. 2! sad.gif

Apart from that I'm loving it, not what I was expecting at all though really! I thought it'd be a much more 'mature' record from her (sort of what I was hoping for..) but I can't complain when the songs are this good. Lullaby and Fly are the lows for me at the moment. Give Me Love and Only One are my favourites on first listen, apart from the two singles.

With these last two albums she's really proved herself. The whole of the Fantasy Ride and Basic Instincteras were such a mess (despite some great songs from both) and she's really turned that around. Maybe down to the label change I guess but still..amazing.

So this is a good album but not better than Ciara. I think the production throughout is strong but some of the hooks are lacking or too repetitive. Singles are That's How I'm Feelin and Only One.

Does anyone else hear Nicole Scherzinger in That's How I'm Feelin'? Don't know if it's my imagination or Ci just sounds like her in that song but with them both good friends and working on that 'I Can Do That!' TV show together, I wouldn't be surprised if she was doing backing vocals.

'Give Me Love' is this album's 'Livin' It Up'. Absolutely OBSESSED <3 That's how you do generic R&B and do it exceptionally WELL.

Quite disappointed with the album, Basic Instinct remains my favourite album for her, then Ciara...this is probably after those two. I love her pop sound but the pop records just weren't as good as they should have been. Aside from One Woman Army, nothing was up to the standard of Overdose or Living It Up, still a good effort but it just falls a bit flat in places.

Really loving this album on the first couple of listens! My favourites at the moment are: 'That's How I'm Feelin'', 'I Bet', 'Give Me Love', 'All Good', 'Only One' & 'One Woman Army'! I'd say the singles are THIF, GML & OWA!

But the whole thing is solid! I'm impressed <3

08.0 Jackie (B.M.F)
10.0 That's How I'm Feelin' - clear standout
08.0 Lullaby

08.5 I Bet
09.0 Give Me Love - BANGER

I did love Ciara (album) but this is definitely better imo, more consistent although nothing even touches Overdose from that album here <3 My faves on first listen are I Bet, That's How I'm Feeling, Give Me Love and One Woman Army. I hope DLWML isn't the next single, it's solid but is among the weakest for me and doesn't scream single in the same way as That's How I'm Feeing for example.

'That's How I'm Feeling' really is the smash on this album, isn't it? SO GOOD.

I am the only one not really getting That's How I'm Feelin'? Like, it's decent and the Missy verse boosts it but it just doesn't grab me as anything special at all. Songs like 'Give Me Love' and 'Only One' just have bigger choruses and feel a little more polished and far more mature well-rounded efforts.

08.0 Jackie (B.M.F)
09.0 That's How I'm Feelin' (feat. Pitbull & Missy Elliot) The production in Pitbull and Missy's bit is so so good. So European!
06.0 Lullaby
09.0 Dance Like We're Making Love
07.0 Stuck On You
04.0 Fly
09.0 I Bet
10.0 Give Me Love
07.5 Kiss & Tell
11.0 All Good
08.5 Only One
08.5 One Woman Army
07.0 I Got You

Not sure it's up to the standard of Ciara yet but it's pretty close. Just wish there were more slow jams or rap features!

I find a new song from this album to become obsessed with daily.

Today is 'Kiss & Tell'. That chorus is just so joyous and melodic. If Jessie Ware had an upbeat, stronger pop sensibility I could imagine this how the music would sound. So good.

Still working through it.

But side note, how she sat on "One Woman Army" baffles me. It needs a video/release ASAP.
