OH MY GOD
This trio of names (well, quad as it's Mattman & Robin) makes me very excited, cannot wait to hear this
Mattman and Robin
not only do the producer's names amuse me, but I'll look forward to two very good artists release new material
Another collab for Tove to not bother being a part of
She's getting around! I hope all these features help build a profile for when she unleashes her second opus.
Nick Jonas and Tove Lo?! Yes please.
As well as being good to look at, I've quite enjoyed the recent music of Nick Jonas so I'm looking forward to this.
Artwork!
Excited for this as I've been loving Nick's material, and some of Tove's too but not as much as Nick's, and I've loved Mattman & Robin's recent productions!
Is it out today?
Omgggg this is SO good! I love the melody especially and their voices go so well together as well as with the production.
This is decent.
This is really good.
this is pretty good - Tove Lo is on fire at the moment
Doing OK on iTunes as of now, it sounds like a hit too, so I would expect it to make a chart entry in the next few weeks when its airplay and streaming starts to pick up (obviously it'll struggle this week as it's OA/OS)
I like this, of course Tove's part is total heaven as expected. Much better than 'Levels' at any rate!
It kind of reminds me of the kind of music Zayn aiming for.
I've been saying all along that Zayn would aim for a Nick Jonas style of music for his solo career. Pillowtalk was spot on in that it could have appeared on Nick's album, and Close sounds like it could be on Zayn's!
I REALLY like it. It's catchy and more in the vein of 'Chains' than any of his previous singles. Tove's bit is really good too (and if we're comparing recent features, her part on this is MUCH better than her part on Desire.)
Best part of that video: 2:40 where you see the perfect outline of his bum 😈
It's very VERY "The Weeknd" but I like that.
It sounds great on first listen so it's a yay for me. There's a bit "too much" Tove Lo on it though, it's more like a duet than a simple feature.
The first part of the video had me like "BORIING" but then it turns out to be a great video.
Oh and BULGE IN ACTION !!!!
I actually think that video is really effective. It's simple, but has a strong narrative and is suitably intense. I was enjoying the song anyway, but it definitely heightens the whole thing for me. Tove and Nick both look amazing and are very convincing .
Really enjoyed on first listen!
It's nice, though maybe a bit too subtle for my liking. Tove is great, adds a lot to it. Nowhere near as good as Jealous but I prefer Levels too.
Loooove this. Back on form after the quite disappointing 'Levels'!
The video was great, obviously inspired by Elastic Heart
I agree Tove Lo is owning this. She doesn't feel tacked on at all as with Desire (which she simply was, I guess). It almost feels more like a Tove Lo song than a Nick song, in fact she has a writing credit and he doesn't.
Yeah, only heard this today but it was instant love, and I haven't loved anything of Nick's yet. It's the perfect blend between both of their sounds, Desire definitely feels tacked on, but this is so natural and they both deliver it convincingly. Gonna be playing this a lot, fantastic stuff.
Oh wow, that might be the best video I've seen all year, that's enhanced how much I enjoy this actually. I was expecting it to be filthy because of you, Harry, but it's really well done, tasteful.
I don't think this is very good to be honest. Levels and jealous were good pop hits but this is just bland and boring.
This is really good, they seem like an odd combination on paper but it works so well and the video is pretty good too. It feels very dramatic and slick. For some reason he doesn't get the love Justin Bieber and Zayn are getting for their similar music, but his is just as good/better and he was kind of doing it before them.
The thing that isn't great is the single the artwork, which is a low res screen shot from the video, which is way too dark. They could have done better, surely.
Considering she managed to actually leave the recording studio to film a video, you think someone would've take a hi-res photo.
This went in at #27 in America, which I'd say is a decent debut. I peeped in the International chart forum and it looks as though it's doing okay on radio, but I never really understood their system.
That's good for him! Isn't that his 2nd highest peaking single?
THIS SONG IS OWNING ME RIGHT NOW.
