Portugal. The Man needs a Jools Holland performance, that should give the track a massive boost.

Heavy in the top 40 wub.gif definitely not performing like Zara's So Good or Dua's Lost In Your Light as many expected! Hopefully the next single makes an even bigger impact though.

Not feeling 'Heavy' as much as Anne Marie's other singles sad.gif 'Ciao Adios' and 'Alarm' are both amazing pop songs, two of my favorite of the last two years so this was always gonna have a LOT of living up to do! Pleased for her anyway.

Well 'Heavy' is a big disappointment after 'Alarm' and 'Ciao Adios' nocheer.gif it sounds so void of personality and like anyone could sing it, which isn't good as Anne-Marie needs to be establishing more of an identity in these early days of her career.

Biography

Marc Kinchen (born 3 August 1972), known by his stage name MK, is an American DJ, record producer and remixer. He hit number-one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1993 and 1994 with the songs "Always" and "Love Changes." Lead vocals on both of those tracks were performed by Alana Simon (songs were credited to MK featuring Alana). The combo also recorded the underground house music classic anthem "Burning." "Always" peaked at number 69 on the UK Singles Chart in February 1995. MK also hit the dance chart with "4 You," using the pseudonym 4th Measure Men.

In November 2013, his remix of Storm Queen's song "Look Right Through" was released on Defected Records and Warner Music and reached number-one on the UK Singles Chart.

Aside from his own career as a recording artist, he is also known for the remixes he produced for other artists, such as Celine Dion's single "Misled", which became the first (and only) number-one Billboard Dance/Club Play chart hit of Dion's career. His remixes of Betty Boo's single "Thing Goin' On" brought the song to number five on the same chart. His remixes of "The Message" by Sofia Shinas reached number 20 on the Dance/Club Play chart. He also produced the remixes of Jody Watley's single "Your Love Keeps Working On Me", which reached number two on that chart. Latest remixes and productions include Lana Del Rey, Dev, Enrique Iglesias, Sky Ferreira, Ellie Goulding, Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, and Tricky.

Kinchen is responsible for the iconic remix of the Nightcrawlers' record "Push the Feeling On," which was used almost twenty years later as the basis of Pitbull's global hit record "Hotel Room Service." The remix was successful internationally, becoming a major number three UK hit. He also assisted Nightcrawlers front-man John Reid with a number of his further releases, but they did not have the same impact on the charts.

It really is sad.gif The chorus is the most disappointing, the verses kinda build up to something good but it just falls flat. As I said I love everything else she's done so I'm glad she's getting another hit but hopefully the success of this inspires her to release something more her next time, and get the damn album out xx

Biography

Edward Christopher Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer. He was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk. He attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey, as an undergraduate from the age of 18 in autumn 2009. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (read as "plus"), was released on 9 September 2011 and has since been certified seven-times platinum in the UK. The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.

Sheeran's popularity abroad began in 2012. In the US, he made a guest appearance on Taylor Swift's fourth studio album, Red. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John. He spent much of 2013 opening for Swift's The Red Tour in North America dates. His second studio album, x (read as "multiply"), was released on 23 June 2014. It peaked at number one in the UK and the US. In 2015, x won the Brit Award for Album of the Year, and he received the Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year. His single from x, "Thinking Out Loud", earned him two Grammy Awards at the 2016 ceremony: Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Sheeran's third album, ÷ ("divide"), was released in March 2017. The album debuted at number one in the UK, the US and other major markets. The first two singles from the album, "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill", were released in January 2017 and broke records in a number of countries, including the UK, Australia and Germany, by debuting in the top two positions of the charts. He also became the first artist to have two songs debut in the US top 10 in the same week. Sheeran appeared on Debrett's 2017 list of the most influential people in the UK.

Biography

Luis Fonsi
Luis Alfonso Rodríguez López-Cepero (born April 15, 1978), known by his stage name Luis Fonsi, is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and actor, best known for the song "Despacito". - Wikipedia

Daddy Yankee
Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez (born February 3, 1977), known by his stage name Daddy Yankee, is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, rapper, actor and record producer. Ayala was born in Río Piedras, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and was raised in the neighborhood of Villa Kennedy Housing Projects. According to the New York Times, he is known as the "King of Reggaetón" by music critics and fans alike.

Ayala aspired to be a professional baseball player, and tried out for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball. Before he could be officially signed, he was hit by a stray round from an AK-47 rifle while taking a break from a studio recording session with reggaeton mix tape icon DJ Playero. Ayala spent roughly one and a half years recovering from the wound; the bullet was never removed from his hip, and he credits the shooting incident with allowing him to focus entirely on a music career. In 2004, Daddy Yankee released his internationally acclaimed single "Gasolina", which is credited with introducing reggaeton to audiences worldwide, and making the music genre a global phenomenon. Since then, he has sold over 18 million albums. Daddy Yankee's album Barrio Fino made history when it became the top-selling Latin music album of the decade between 2000–2009.

Daddy Yankee has received various awards and nominations throughout his career. As of April 2017, he has won 82 awards from 270 nominations since his raise to international fame in 2004. He has won a Latin Grammy Award, 2 Billboard Music Awards, 14 Billboard Latin Music Awards, 2 Latin American Music Awards, 8 Lo Nuestro Awards, an MTV Video Music Award and 6 ASCAP Awards. He also received a Puerto Rican Walk of Fame Star, special awards by People en Español magazine, and the Presencia Latina at Harvard University. He was named by CNN as the Most Influential Hispanic Artist of 2009, and by Time Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential in the World in 2006.

Biography

Karim Kharbouch (born November 9, 1984), better known by his stage name French Montana, is a Moroccan-American hip hop recording artist. Born in Morocco, he immigrated to the United States with his family when he was 13 years old. He is the founder of Coke Boys Records, and its predecessor Cocaine City Records. In 2012, he signed a joint-venture recording deal with Bad Boy Records and Maybach Music Group.

French made his mixtape debut in 2007, and released his debut studio album Excuse My French on May 21, 2013. In 2003, he survived a gunshot to the head. Allegedly blackballed by radio and media in his earlier career stemming from his stint with Max B, in 2010, he had his breakthrough with "Choppa Choppa Down".

In July 2017, Montana released his sophomore studio album, Jungle Rules, which peaked at number 3 on the US Billboard 200. The album was supported by the single "Unforgettable", featuring Swae Lee, which became Montana's first song as lead artist to reach the top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
