Sherlock and Game of Thrones for me! Two brilliant shows that deserve the record success they've gained.
Game of Thrones has managed to build an enormous world and execute it really well (on the whole) with some absolutely stunning set pieces. Sherlock at its high is a masterpiece in writing, editing, directing and acting aka everything! The quality did dive for a few episodes in Series 3/4 but it is still heads above many other shows! Special mention to The Returned as the first series was fantastic! I thought it was leading up to something that would be spectacular but the second series was a bit of a let down.

Game of Thrones and Twin Peaks easily! My favourite show and my favourite recent discovery (that I should've watched a long time ago).
The first season of The Returned was excellent, but I never could finish the second :x |

Thrones and Peaks easily. 2 shows that have re-defined television and have had and will continue to have a huge legacy. Only The Sopranos comes close to their influence

Game of Thrones is the only one I've watched so the only one I'm voting for. I did love the first couple of seasons and lack of quality definitely isn't why I didn't keep up (more lack of time)
