BuzzJack Music Forum _ UK Charts _ Clean Bandit feat. Louisa Johnson - Tears

Posted by: Mango May 26 2016, 04:34 PM

So this surprise collaboration is now available to hear https://openload.co/embed/D3Ge_-pX01E/ and is presumably dropping tomorrow.

I think it will debut quite high and if it doesn't get to No. 1 next week I think it has a strong chance of making it in the coming weeks.

What do we all think?

Top 3

I'd be surprised if this doesn't go to #1 eventually. Sounds brilliant after my second listen and they are performing on BGT on Saturday so I'd presume that'll hugely help it. Definitely a sales #1 for next week I'd have thought...

It could definitely contend for #1 but I picked top 3, don't want to be too hasty and pick #1 just yet. Think it could debut top 10 this week though with the BGT performance!

#3 or #4, with a decent run.

#11

Definitely a contender for #1 next week especially with a BGT performance, just have to see how low sales are for this week, they are not that fantastic, mind you we do have sales data missing... today.

thats the kinda song the UK should send to Eurovision, sounds like an Eurovision winner song to me biggrin.gif goes hides

initially top3 ~ but this will surely storm to #1 in the coming weeks dancing.gif

A top 5 cert and will out-peak her terrible winners single.

Posted by: Eva_coco_may May 26 2016, 06:06 PM

top 5 - Love it!!

Posted by: Joe. May 26 2016, 06:18 PM

It's really different - I can see the public taking to it! I put top 10, but wouldn't be surprised with top 5.

Needs MEGA sales to make up for its inevitable lack of streaming early on but you can't rule anything out.

I need to hear the song first though kink.gif

I don't really like the song. I can't even recognise that it's Louisa!!

Posted by: Josh May 26 2016, 08:39 PM

Top 5, I reckon it'll peak at #4 but will drop quickly down the charts...

Posted by: Ryan. May 26 2016, 10:36 PM

I imagine a top 5 peak a few weeks into its chart run but a long run in the top 10, something along the lines of Lush Life. I imagine the sales peak will be pretty early on in its run with the fanbase buys and BGT performance and streaming will peak a few weeks later.

#03 peak

People aren't here for floppage and that's what they'll think post X Factor. #28

#1- can really see it hitting the top spot at some point, absolutely fantastic song! ❤️

Posted by: SevenSeize May 26 2016, 11:21 PM

I think first week this'll land just outside the Top 10 (it isn't going to make some massive initial impact, but should still do well with the BGT performance). Could crack the Top 5 soon enough but that may take a while

Posted by: jay727 May 27 2016, 06:50 AM

Don't like it all. Sounds like a recycled Eurovision song.

Posted by: Hassaan May 27 2016, 10:56 AM

It would be nice to see 100k+ sales for once but it's going to need a massive push. Hopefully the Britain's Got Talent live performance will help with that.

Posted by: 360Jupiter May 27 2016, 11:12 AM

I'm going to say top 5. It'll be sales-heavy and won't pick up on streaming until too late, and definitely not enough to challenge the stranglehold at the top of the streaming charts from the big hitters.

BGT performance should help it. I personally am not getting much from it on first listen, feels like a step down for Clean Bandit from their work with Jess Glynne.
