Jess Glynne- Right Here Chart-Run: 5-12-19-22-21-26 Release Date: 6th July Chart Sales: +175k Jess Glynne has been on hot form this year with massive dance hit Rather Be and her first solo song Right Here which looked like it would do nothing in my charts originally. However it debuted in the top 5 and has lifted itself to a fantastic 175k total- especially amazing for a dance song which normally tends to struggle in my charts. Look to Jess for a few more weeks and I can't wait to hear more from her |

Hayden Panettiere- Don't Put Dirt On My Grave Just Yet Chart-Run: 2-1-3-6-10-17-25 Release Date: 29th June Chart Sales: +455k Arguably the biggest surprise success of the year along with if I die young- both country songs- people still predicted this track from Nashville to bomb despite being really high on pre-orders with a couple of days till the release. However Hayden's song lost no momentum at all and finished behind Ariana for her first week before pulling of an even bigger surprise by beating Problem the week after. The track spent 5 weeks in the top 10 and Black Roses is back ahead of this this week after a reverse in the Nashville tracks since Black Roses was released. Everyone should listen to this track and I give it a massive recommendation. Bastille- Oblivion Chart-Run: 19-24 Release Date: 6th August onto ITunes Chart Sales: +35k And Bastille's umpteenth single from Bad Blood is still yet to peak and is performing very strongly at the moment. Oblivion is a beautiful song from one of my favourite bands at the moment and Oblivion has potential to go top 10 in my charts at a later date when I listen to it more |

Sia- Chandelier Chart-Run: 3-3-7-13-17-18-23 Release Date: 29th June Chart Sales: +320k [40th for the year and will be 38 next week] And Sia's killer track tumbles 5 places and out of the top 20 this week with the amazing Chandelier. With no buzz in my chart a couple of days before release, it appeared out of nowhere on Sunday and debuted at 3 the week after. It has held on well since and spent 3 weeks in the top 10. Sia has finally had some solo success after scoring number 1's on both songs with David Guetta on Titanium and She Wolf [the latter is the bigger seller]. I love Sia's voice and Chandelier has done fantastically well. |

Cheryl Cole Ft Tinie Tempah- Crazy Stupid Love Chart-Run: 1-4-9-22 Release Date: 20th July Chart Sales: +375k Yeah I threw this in as a contender just for fun. Cheryl plummets from the top 10 to outside the top 20 with the first single from Only Human. The reason is probably because of competition and the fact I hate Tinie's rap part at the moment. However the sales are good enough anyway and they are already bigger than Call My Name's total. Ariana Grande Ft Zedd- Break Free Chart-Run: 21 Release Date: 12th August, no proper release date set yet Chart Sales: +20k This song will definitely reach a new peak at a later date and Break Free just misses the top 20 on it's first week. This is both Ariana and Zedd's second top 40 hit after Problem and Stay The Night [peaked at 5, sales 202k]. I really like this but they really messed up the UK release of the song. Anyway watch out for this in the next few weeks where the amount of new entries are dire [in the next 3 weeks G.R.L and The Ting Tings are definitely new entries and Emma Stevens and a couple may make it but that is it] |

Charli XCX- Boom Clap Chart-Run: 5-8-14-20 Release Date: 20th July Chart Sales: +245k Anyone looking at my chart stats would think this and black roses were the same song. They both have the same 2nd, 3rd and 4th week peaks and also are only 4k apart in sales. Charli XCX has received big success from the song's use in The Fault In Our Stars which made me like the song more and also gave me a month to build buzz for it. 19 08 11 Lana Del Rey- Ultraviolence Chart-Run: 2-3-2-4-9-12-11-17-9-8-19 Release Date: 5th June Chart Sales: +735k And Lana's massive number 2 hit is the song from the title of the fastest selling album of all time. Ultraviolence is such a beautiful and amazing ballad and has deserved every bit of success in my chart but the big fall arrives this week due to a mixture of a clearout and that the video boost isn't as big anymore. Well she's still doing fantastic and will probably move into the top 15 biggest singles this year next week The top 10 is having a big clearout this week and two are already gone. Idina Menzel- Let It Go Chart-Run: 4-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-1-1-3-5-1-1-1-2-2-3-4-5-1-1-4-8-9-3-6-4-5-9-11-13-18 Release Date: 3rd December 2013 Chart Sales: +8.55M [+7.6M in 2014] And Idina is starting to fall pretty quickly now with the massive Frozen song after it spent 35 weeks in the top 10, it is already nearly out of the top 20 after only 3 weeks. There is nothing more to say than Let It Go is one of my favourites songs ever and one of the biggest ever songs in my chart I will continue either later [in about 15 minutes] or tomorrow |

16 11 18 Iggy Azalea Ft Charli XCX- Fancy Chart-Run: 12-N/A-19-7-5-9-4-3-7-13-10-9-8-11-9-11-12-11-16 Release Date: 6th April Chart Sales: +910k 17 12 10 George Ezra- Budapest Chart-Run: 4-11-6-5-10-14-12-13-12-17 Release Date: 8th June Chart Sales: +440k Two of this years big hits are next up. George Ezra spends his 10th week in the top 20 in 17th with Budapest- a song that has been getting massive success. The song has been really successful and despite peaking at 3, it has shifted over 440k and it continues to do well. Also in 16th is one of the biggest shock successes this year. Fancy bombed on it's first two weeks and then I started to watch and love the video, and then I loved the song before it blew up in my chart. The song has spent 10 weeks in the top 10 and has also had 3 non consecutive weeks at number 11. Despite only peaking at 3, Fancy has shifted over 910k and is launching a serious bid to become the biggest rap song ever in my charts. Love the way you lie is top with 965k followed by read all about it with 964k and Fancy in 3rd. Fancy also has a genuine chance at becoming a million seller I am going to bed now so the rest will be in about 9 hours I'd guess. See you later and please read and comment |

15 06 03 Pixie Lott- Lay Me Down Chart-Run: 5-6-15 Release Date: 27th July Chart Sales: +190k And at 15 is Pixie Lott with her second single from her self titled album. Lay Me Down looked like it would bomb on release entering around 17 but it surprised us all by sneaking into the top 5. This week it takes a bit of a fall but it is still selling well and will be certificated silver next week. Catching Nasty [258k] is not completely out of the question and both songs have had a quite similar run [Nasty was something like 6-5-6-9-21 so they'll have about the same amount of weeks in the chart]. Lay Me Down is another song that didn't deserve to bomb. 14 10 18 Lana Del Rey- West Coast Chart-Run: 1-1-1-2-6-2-4-8-5-6-8-7-7-10-14-15-10-14 Release Date: Monday 14th April Chart Sales: +1.450M And Lana Del Rey has another massive week with the 2x platinum million seller West Coast. I knew Lana's new album would do well this year but I did not expect that one of her singles would be in contention for top 2 of the year. She's 4 at the moment but I think she is only around 70k from Christina Perri now for 3rd place. Despite only being on release for 5 and a half days, West Coast debuted to a massive 258k which is still the 3rd biggest opening week in 2014. The song has held on really well by spending 3 weeks at the top before getting an extra 12 non consecutive weeks between 2 and 10. Cher Lloyd- Sirens Chart-Run: 6-2-4-13 Release Date: 20th July Chart Sales: +410k A new member of the gold club this week is from Cher Lloyd's new ballad Sirens. It is such a shame this missed the official top 40 at 41. Anyway it peaked at 2 on my charts and spent a total of 3 weeks in the top 10. I actually don't know what else to write for Sirens so i'll leave it here |

Paloma Faith- Only Love Can Hurt Like This Chart-Run: 17-N/A-N/A-N/A-N/A-6-8-7-2-10-9-8-10-10-8-13-16-16-16-12 Release Date: 6th April- Album Cherry-Picking, 11th May- Official Release Chart Sales: +715k And next up is Paloma Faith with a song Buzzjack adores. Anyway it is nice to finally have a climber that's not a re-entry in this weeks show. OLCHLT will probably become the 16th biggest seller of the year making it a massive success for a post-album single for an album that sold over 2.4M copies. The song debuted at 17 after I bought A Perfect Contradiction- Can't Rely On You went back top 10 and Love Only Leaves You Lonely debuted at 13. The song re-appeared in May at number 6 before it found the perfect week to go to number 1. This is another song that went to the top in the midweek update but never made it their officially due to a Britian's Got Talent performance boosting Idina Menzel back to the top spot again. The song fell badly the week after but has held on fantastically ever since. The track has spent 10 weeks in the top 10 but it would have been nice to see it at 16 this week for it's 16th week- especially as it's been in that position in the 13th, 14th and 15th week of it's chart run. |

Ella Henderson- Ghost Chart-Run: 1-1-1-1-4-2-6-7-7-5-11 Release Date: 1st June Chart Sales: +1240M And even the usually solid Ghost can't avoid plummeting this week in a chart full of new songs. Ghost also joins the 10 weeks in the top 10 club and sits nicely at 11 for it's 11th week. It is by far the biggest official number 1 in my charts this year [by over 700k- Rather Be is 2nd]. The song also spent 4 weeks at number 1 after getting a week early release and it has sold over +1.240M making it the 5th biggest seller this year. It will be interesting to see how Glow does next month. Lana Del Rey- Money Power Glory Chart-Run: 4-17-33-X-X-X-X-2-10 Release Date: 3rd August Chart Sales: +245k And Lana's last song in this weeks chart is also her 2nd biggest faller. Money Power Glory got a re-entry back at 2 last week but fails to hold on this week- though this fall is not always the death of the song. Only Love Can Hurt Like This fell to and from the same position two months ago and it is still 12th. This is one of my favourite tracks from Ultraviolence which is why I chose it for release in my charts and it has sold a fantastic +245k sales so far for a post album single |

Foxes- Glorious Chart-Run: 9 Release Date: 10th August Chart Sales: +40k And the biggest surprise of the top 10 is definitely Foxes sneaking in at the last second despite being 20th in the Wednesday update and 16th on Friday. This marks Foxes 4th top 10 hit but her lowest song on opening week- Holding Onto Heaven [21]- is by far her biggest eventually reaching a peak of something like 4. Glorious might have also not peaked yet but it has made an amazing start whatever happens next |

Neon Jungle- Louder Chart-Run: 3-6-7-8 Release Date: 20th July Chart Sales: +350k And one of the only survivors in the song falling heavily weak are Neon Jungle with 4th and most successful single by miles- Louder. However the song hasn't lived up to high expectations that it could potentially become a million seller- at the moment it has just limped over 350k. However the song has had a good chart run and this is the songs 4th week in the top 10, already more than their other 3 songs combined [2 weeks top 10] |
