Looks like we have some good ones coming up! I think 'Black Christmas' could be a lot of fun as could 'Fantasy Island' - the idea for 'The Invisible Man' really intrigues me ans I think that could be done really well.
'The Grudge' looks like it will be awful from that trailer and reminds me of 'Rings' - only thing intriguing me is the fact it's done by the same producer of 'Don't Breathe' and 'Evil Dead'. |

I've been told by my mate to avoid the 'The Invisible Man' trailer coz "it gives everything away"! GAH. I wish horror movies would stop it. Them and comedies are the worst for giving away the essential parts. Ugh.
Excited for 'Fantasy Island' as well as the sequels! Intrigued to see where 'A Quiet Place 2' goes... 'Little Monsters' is a cute film. Nothing amazing, but watchable. |

No way. It looks like a Goosebumps Movie but not Goosebumps. The trailers are geared at kids from 8-14. Both of my daughters who are 11 and 13 want to see it. It is NOT in any way a starter horror movie.

Not really interested in another Grudge film tbh. The Invisible Man looks good though.

Horror is my fave genre too closely followed by thrillers. Been watching them since the mid-70's.

No real surprise, it's one of those things that's been done a thousand times before!

'Black Christmas' looks awful and its box office performance & reviews seems to agree. They should have left this alone as the original 1974 is a classic, don't get me started on that awful 2006 remake, even this version can't be as bad as that, at least judging from the trailer it looks like they're at least trying something different with it.

You gotta wait another 6 weeks for the UK release, but I'm seeing this tomorrow and it looks to be wild. It's an A24 film, so the same company as Hereditary, Midsommar, The Witch etc. This post has been edited by Harve: 18th December 2019, 01:58 AM |

Awful IMDB reviews for Black Christmas. I was kind of interested before it gave literally everything away in the trailer :’) You gotta wait another 6 weeks for the UK release, but I'm seeing this tomorrow and it looks to be wild. It's an A24 film, so the same company as Hereditary, Midsommar, The Witch etc. I’m so annoyed we have to wait so long for this, it looks incredible and I really hope this Oscars talk leads somewhere. Loved all those films so looking forward to it greatly. |

Updated with trailers for 'A Quiet Place II', 'The Boy II' and 'Saint Maud'
I think I'll be giving 'The Grudge' a miss unless I get REALLY bored, I feel like I know exactly what to expect with that kind of film already, I really don't know why they bothered :'). The trailer for A Quiet Place II actually looks really good, Saint Maud looks like it could be interesting as well. |
