Well that was an unexpected choice of chart breaker This is sounding ok on first listen, though not as good as 'G.D.F.R.' ~

:| OMG, what the heck? Yeah, I don't love their song, but I like it slightly. BUT where are Lost Frequencies or Tinie\Jess? What a shame.

Ignore the two main contenders then~ (I mean it's good they're playing different songs than main contenders but it's stupid to label it the 'chart breaker' when there's two much more likely songs to be riding high)
Flo's song didn't sound particularly remarkable on first listen. |

8 (new entry) Adam Lambert - "The Original High" ~ 19 (new entry) Rixton - "Let The Road" ~ 30 (new entry) Giorgio Moroder - "Déjà Vu" ~ YAY for Adam Lambert Rixton recovered a little bit, haven't they? If I remember well they were out of the top 20 Friday, but maybe I'm wrong. Giorgio Moroder's album is fantastic! Shame it isn't top 10 but I'm guessing this is also a good result for him. |

Blimey! I could have sworn RHRN went Top 40! It was released on a Friday and only peaked at #154 Maybe it could've gone top 100 if it would have been released on a Sunday. EDIT: from MW report: QUOTE First single Right Here, Right Now - featuring Kylie Minogue - reached number 125, while the title track - featuring Sia - reached number 194.

I know I'm weeks behind but how did Major Lazer rebound so strongly after seemingly having peaked at 4?

I know I'm weeks behind but how did Major Lazer rebound so strongly after seemingly having peaked at 4? I think very few new releases is the greatest factor, as its sales haven't increased that much:19/04/2015 - #13 - 29,837 26/04/2015 - #6 - 36,849 03/05/2015 - #4 - 44,033 10/05/2015 - #5 - 43,289 17/05/2015 - #5 - 46,679 24/05/2015 - #7 - 42,698 31/05/2015 - #7 - 40,519 07/06/2015 - #4 - 44,626 14/06/2015 - #3 - 49,398 21/06/2015 - #2 - 48,760 What increase there is, is probably down to Capital starting to play it, and streaming continuing to increase. |

Thanks Rush.
I remember a similar thing happening with 50 Cent's In Da Club in 2003. It's sales kept falling but it's position kept increasing 9-8-5-3. |
