EOY 2017

Welcome to my very first EOY chart cheer.gif

My chart year technically starts on the 7th January so I'm aiming to have it finished around then, give or take a week or so.

I'll have a countdown of my 10 favourite albums of the year before the main countdown

I won't really be using a points system cus a lot of my chart runs from when I started were just complete messes, i.e. Ed Sheeran - Castle on the Hill [1-9-22-27-32-39](6), and the fact I changed to a top 40 midway through and just made up the chart runs for the songs that only had them for the top 20 so...

Starting sometime soon when I have the effort

Get hype

TOP 10 ALBUMS/EPs OF 2017

Posted by: BridgeCow 27th November 2017, 10:28 PM

10. Illenium - Awake

Charting Singles:
04-03-2017 09 Gryffin & Illenium - Feel Good ft. Daya [9-11-19-24-28-36](6)
12-08-2017 23 Illenium - Crawl Outta Love ft. Annika Wells [29-23-28-31-30-26-33](7)
16-09-2017 03 Illenium - Leaving ft. EDEN [29-15-9-7-3-5-10-12-19-24-30-TBC]

Awake is the second studio album by American DJ Illenium, released via Seeking Blue/Kasaya Records on September 21, 2017.
Coming in at number 10 Illenium's second studio album, the follow up to the outstanding Ashes. The hype for this album was real, and within the EDM community many wondered if Illenium could deliver another masterpiece like his first album, and, I think it's pretty safe to say, he did. This album is packed full of emotion and you can hear Illenium's distinctive style in many of the tracks as well as sense of something fresh too. This album is outstanding and I'm pretty excited to hear more from him in the future.

Posted by: danVember 28th November 2017, 09:47 AM

I'm not good at keeping up to date with albums, I've heard good thing about Illenium though and I've charted two of his songs in the past (never got into 'Leaving' though). Maybe I should give it a listen.

Hey BridgeCow!
I'm excited for your Year-End list.
Still thinking about doing my year end list now.
But yeah, still great start, can't wait for the rest!

09. Louis The Child - Love Is Alive EP

Charting Singles:
21-07-2017 11 Louis the Child - Love is Alive ft. Elohim [14-13-12-11-17-21-24-28-32-38](10)
01-04-2017 01 Louis the Child - Slow Down Love ft. Chelsea Cutler [11-4-1-1-3-4-5-9-13-19-25-30-37](14)
01-04-2017 07 Louis the Child - Go [40-31-11-7-11-11-18-24-23-34-39](12)

Love Is Alive is the debut studio EP of the American duo Louis The Child. Released on March 24 2017 via Ultra Records,LLC.
The next album, or EP I should say, comes from Louis The Child. Louis The Child are, and have been for a while, one of top artists, ever since I first heard It's Strange I instantly fell completely in love with their music, their subtle, but extremely distinctive and unique sound makes them stand out among the plethora of EDM artists nowadays. They've been a big part in shaping future bass into becoming the monster it is nowadays, and whether you love or hate the genre, it's hard to say that Louis The Child produce bad or lazy music. Consisting of just 7 songs, this EP manages to tell more of a story and give a more varied product than at least 3/4 of the album's I've listened to this year, despite being similar in tone, no two of these 7 songs sound alike. This EP easily shoots it's way into the best of 2017.

Posted by: danVember 28th November 2017, 10:15 PM

I liked It's Strange a fair bit, but found Fire to be quite lazy. sad.gif (yeah I said it)

That's all I've heard thus far.

Posted by: DalekTurret32 28th November 2017, 11:16 PM

My favourite Louis The Child song would have to be It's Strange. The drop has a bit of Flume vibe in it.

Posted by: sergejdordij98 28th November 2017, 11:25 PM

Still have to listen to this album.

08. Grey - Chameleon EP

Charting Singles:
N/A

Chameleon is the debut studio EP from the brother duo Grey, released on the 29th September 2017
Coming in at number 8 is the debut EP from Grey. I first heard of this duo, like a lot of people, from their collab with Zedd and Hailee Steinfeld on Starving. Most of their other follow up stuff to that failed to spark any interest me and I passed them off as generic future bass making artists and lost any interest in them. Crime came along, the lead single of this EP, and, while it was definitely an improvement, failed to change my opinion of them. And then they dropped this EP and just, wow, I was completely blown away. From their insane collab with Avril Lavigne in Wings Clipped to their chilled, emotional collab with Frances in 'Room 101', this album shows an incredibly diverse range of production and showcases just how much skill these two brothers have and their potential when they don't hit chase with boring future bass. Although any songs from this EP managed to make my top 40, both Chameleon and These Roots were VERY close and in hindsight, I'm not entirely sure why I never entered these, although I did chart their amazing remix of Jarryd James's Do You Remember. If they continue with this sort of style I'll be on the edge of my seat to here what they have in store for the future.

and you should listen to this if you haven't yet:

I like the Grey Remix to "Do You Remember" and "Wings Clipped"!
Great album!

Posted by: JosephStyles 29th November 2017, 07:49 PM

I've only heard Wings Clipped from the albums/EPs so far but I really liked that!

Hoping There For You can finish highly from your #1s list wub.gif

07. Cashmere Cat - 9

Charting Singles:
07-01-2017 06 Cashmere Cat - Trust Nobody ft. Selena Gomez & Tory Lanez [6-10-21-23-26-35-39](7)
25-02-2017 16 Cashmere Cat - Love Incredible ft. Camilla Cabello [25-16-23-28-35](2)
01-04-2017 27 Cashmere Cat - 9 (After Coachella) ft. MØ & SOPHIE [27-33-37](3)
29-04-2017 32 Cashmere Cat - Plz Don't Go ft. Jhene Aiko [32-39](2)
29-04-2017 01 Cashmere Cat - Quit ft. Ariana Grande [3-1-1-1-3-5-7-12-16-23-30-38](12)

9 is the debut studio album by Norwegian DJ and record producer Cashmere Cat, released on 28 April 2017 through Interscope and Mad Love.
I first heard of Cashmere Cat through his collab with Selena Gomez in Trust Nobody, and was initially taken by how such a seemingly unknown artist managed to get collabs with such huge stars like Selena, The Weeknd and Ariana Grande. And then I listened to the song and it clicked, he has such a distinctive and smooth sound, present in all his music and it results in such a fresh and innovative vibe that is rarely found in music nowadays, especially with such huge artists. So when I saw he was releasing an album, I was understandably very excited. While the album itself isn't necessarily outstanding, too many songs sound as filler and are not very distinguishable nor memorable, the highs are extremely high, and the high in this case is Quit featuring Ariana Grande. This song is stunning, from Ariana's smooth and powerful vocals to Cashmere Cat's mesmerising and enticing production, everything about this song I love so much, explaining why it managed 3 weeks at number 1 on my chart.

06. Dua Lipa - Dua Lipa

Charting Singles:
14-01-2017 11 Dua Lipa - Be the One [13-11-20-29-37](5)
03-06-2017 02 Dua Lipa - New Rules [38-xx7-9-2-2-2-3-5-8-13-20-29-35](12)

Dua Lipa is the debut studio album by English singer Dua Lipa. It was released on 2 June 2017 by Warner Bros. Records.
Need I say anything about this? After 2 pushbacks and a mess of a release schedule, it seemed as if this album was doomed, Lost In Your Light being pushed as the single seemed like the final nail in the coffin for the album. But then New Rules came and tore the coffin right back open again and saved Dua Lipa from falling into the hole of irrelevancy. At the start of the year I think very very few people could have predicted that by the time this album finally came out she would manage to get a huge number 1 from a post album single, but she did and props to her for that. The album itself does an amazing job as showing Dua as the pop superstar she is, delivering tunes like IDGAF and Hotter Than Hell as well as showcasing her raw ability to sing so well, like in Homesick and Garden. I can bop to pretty much every song on this album, which is so rare for an album like this, which is why it's made my top 10 of the year.

Posted by: PeteFromLeeds 2nd December 2017, 11:04 AM

Yay, an album I've actually listened to! cheer.gif Dua does have some great songs on there!

05. Avicii - Avīci (01)

Charting Singles:
12-08-2017 18 Avicii - You Be Love ft. Billy Raffoul [18-27-33-38](4)
12-08-2017 09 Sandro Cavazza - So Much Better (Avicii Remix) [11-9-12-11-19-27-36](7)
12-08-2017 05 Avicii - Lonely Together ft. Rita Ora [22-16-7-6-5-5-7-12-15-28-35](11)
12-08-2017 01 Avicii - Without You ft. Sandro Cavazza [1-1-1-1-2-3-2-5-8-13-21-27-34-40-39](15)

Avīci (01) is an extended play by Swedish DJ and record producer Avicii and was released through Avicii Music on 10 August 2017
Avicii's massively hyped comeback finally happened this year, it's safe to say expectations were extremely high and I think he definitely smashed them with this EP. The follow up to the, let's just say disappointing, Stories from 2015, I was extremely on edge for new music from him. This EP certainly filled the Avicii sized hole in me. It manages to both keep a classic Avicii feel, like in the amazing Without You, as well as showcasing a newer side of production, like in Lonely Together and some completely new sounds from him like in his remix for So Much Better. This EP did an amazing of job of sounding fresh but also not too drastic of a shift from the Avicii we all know and love. Dropped just in time for Summer this EP easily became the sound of my summer holiday to Venice. This EP is outstanding and I would place it higher but I just need more from him 17 minutes of runtime just isn't enough and I'm still salty they pushed Lonely Together over Without You. Bring on Avīci (02), or whatever it's gonna be called.

Holding out hope that Without You becomes the second single, it's really grown on me in the past few days heart.gif

04. Calvin Harris - Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1

Charting Singles:
25-02-2017 04 Calvin Harris - Slide ft. Frank Ocean & Migos [4-7-9-13-12-11-16-21-25-27-35-38](12)
01-04-2017 05 Calvin Harris - Heatstroke ft. Young Thug, Pharell Williams, Ariana Grande [15-7-6-5-9-18-22-26-33-37](10)
13-05-2017 04 Calvin Harris - Rollin' ft. Future & Khalid [8-4-8-12-17-31-34-40](8)
16-06-2017 09 Calvin Harris - Feels ft. Pharell Williams, Katy Perry, Big Sean [17-17-10-9-10-12-18-26-37](9)
01-07-2017 05 Calvin Harris - Faking It ft. Kelhani, Lil Yachty [32-39-xx¹⁶-21-13-8-6-5-TBC](7)
01-07-2017 15 Calvin Harris - Hard To Love ft. Jessie Reyez [15-24-37](3)

Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 is the fifth studio album by Scottish DJ and record producer Calvin Harris. It was released on 30 June 2017 by Columbia Records.
This year was undeniably huge for Calvin, Slide being released was a big shock to the system for a lot of people, being totally different to the generic, albeit great, dance bangers he was releasing just the year before. Some people took this change well, others not so well. At first, I wasn't sure what to make of it, one of my favourite producers from one of my favourite genres had completely switched up his style to one that I was very unfamiliar with and not too interested in, so I was, of course, disappointed. But, it was Calvin and I was determined to find a silver lining, and then, at that weekend I put the Slide on in the car and turned the volume up and was transported to summer, it completely clicked with me, it was so vibey and chilled and put me in such an amazing mood and the song just slipped into place with me. It was new and fresh from Calvin and produced so irresistibly well that you could tell he was putting passion into his music again, and I was sooo here for it. More singles came out, like Heatstroke, which, although I personally love it, didn't get matched with such great reception, and then the amazing Rollin' which failed to even make the top 40, and for a while it looked like Calvin was about to completely flop with this era, was he gonna fade into the realm of irrelevancy (*cough* like Guetta *cough*). But then Feels came out, and with the help of a certain Katy Perry (who also happened to have a very floppy era), Calvin was shoved back into stardom. I think this managed to help Calvin's new sound connect with people, and just in time for summer I think people really got what he was doing with the album. Now the album itself isn't exactly outstanding or near the level of 18 months say, some gems such as Hard To Love and Faking It and some not so gems, such as Cash Out, but I have to give him kudos for the fact 10 years after he first began having hits, he still found a way to sound fresh and new and still making amazing music. This album made my summer which gives it such a high place in the top 10.

(ok why tf does Slide not have a video, not ok)

I hope they don't tbh I'd rather Avicii just slayed us with Part 2 as a Christmas present or something and they push whatever takes off from that. It's a bit too late for Without You now.

LOVE the Calvin album, so good. heart.gif

hi.gif BridgeCow!

Couldn't agree more with how fantastic it is that Calvin is still experimenting and keeping things fresh so far into his career. I still enjoy a safe TIWYCF style bop ofc but the dip into a more urban sound has worked wonders for him this era and Funk Wav Bounces could potentially be my favourite album of his yet!! Skrt On Me and Faking It are my big highlights on the album, I'm still holding on to a little bit of hope that the former might maybe still be pushed a single laugh.gif

03. Imagine Dragons - ƎVOLVE

Charting Singles:
29-04-2017 25 Imagine Dragons - Thunder [25-32](2)
24-06-2017 39 Imagine Dragons - Mouth Of The River [39](1)
24-06-2017 15 Imagine Dragons - Start Over [15-27-35](3)
24-06-2017 23 Imagine Dragons - Yesterday [23-25-32](3)

Evolve (stylized as ƎVOLVE) is the third studio album by American rock band Imagine Dragons, released on June 23, 2017 through KIDinaKORNER and Interscope Records.
I reaallyyyy love this album, after I wasn't really feeling Believer and I found Thunder good, but nothing special, my hype for this album was certainly not too high. Something about it just wasn't clicking with me like the singles for the previous albums did. But then the album came out and my opinions flipped completely upside down (seems to be a common theme with albums this year lol). It is full of variety and has such a sense of depth and greatness that wasn't present in the singles by themselves, songs like Thunder clicked with and I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I remembered. You can tell they're trying new things as well as keeping their typical unique sound. While Evolve is no Night Visions, and I don't think Imagine Dragons will be able to reach those heights ever again, it is really good and is full of gems and is certainly on par with, if not an improvement on Smoke + Mirrors. This album has been a highlight of the year for me, and I'm dead excited to go and see them in February cheer.gif

Yeah, as much as his safe bangers are amazing, he needed to do something fresh. Funk Wav Bounces is certainly a very strong album, but nothing will ever come close to hoe good 18 Months was wub.gif Skrt On Me is really good, but I don't think I could see it as a single, just such a shame Faking It is doing nothing sad.gif

Hi Bridgecow

I think my Imagine Dragons ranking would have to be Night Visions > Smoke + Mirrors > Evolve, so getting progressively worse, haha whoops drama.gif I did like this album but I didn't go back to it half as much as their other albums and now I'd struggle to name more than a few tracks from it. The songs as standalone singles have been really good but I found the album itself a little forgettable cry.gif I'm sure you'll have a great time going to see them too, I bet the atmosphere in tracks like "Radioactive" and "Demons" will be amazing!!

The songs as standalone singles have been really good but I found the album itself a little forgettable cry.gif I'm sure you'll have a great time going to see them too, I bet the atmosphere in tracks like "Radioactive" and "Demons" will be amazing!!

Shame you didn't like this album as much as the others sad.gif It easily holds up for me
They're gonna be amazinggg, I can see me getting chills multiple times

QUOTE(Petelehem @ Dec 10 2017, 03:58 PM) *
Thunder is amazing but unfortunately I've not really been sold with any of the other Imagine Dragons singles sad.gif

Thunder is really good but sad.gif at you not loving they're other stuff, hopefully you'll enjoy their next album lol

02. Mura Masa - Mura Masa

Charting Singles:
18-03-2017 01 Mura Masa & Charli XCX - 1 Night [1-1-1-1-2-2-2-2-2-3-6-10-16-24-28-34](16)
20-05-2017 17 Mura Masa - All Around The World ft. Desiigner [19-17-17-26-35](5)
01-07-2017 39 Mura Masa - Blu ft. Damon Albarn [39](1)
01-07-2017 03 Mura Masa - Second 2 None ft. Christine And The Queens [5-3-5-8-11-14-21-35-39](9)
15-07-2017 24 Mura Masa - helpline ft. Tom Tripp [39-30-24-32](4)
15-07-2017 13 Mura Masa - Nuggets ft. Bonzai [26-19-13-18-28-36](6)
22-07-2017 36 Mura Masa - Messy Love [36](1)

Mura Masa is the self-titled debut studio album by Guernsey-born music producer Alex Crossan, under his alias Mura Masa. It was released on 14 July 2017 by Polydor, Interscope, Downtown and Anchor Point Records.
Mura Masa was already one of my top artists of 2016 with the amazing Love$ick. So early this year when I saw he was doing a collaboration with Charli XCX I was, understandably, incredibly excited. I remember being in the car at around half 7 listening to Radio 1 play it as their hottest record, and, although I was expecting it to be good, I was never ever expecting it to be THIS good. And I knew from the moment the song finished that it had just rocketed it's way into being one of my top songs of 2017 (spoilers whoops). It was huge for me, spending a massive 4 weeks at number 1, which only one other song has managed this year (from a certain Avicii). Mura Masa kept churning out the songs from his album in the weeks before it's release and I kept on charting and charting them, each song sounded new and fresh and of just such a high quality, I was completely mind blown. It's such a diverse, fresh and interesting album that held up through many repeated listens, which makes it my second favourite album of the year, but what's number one?

Posted by: Petelehem 12th December 2017, 04:36 PM

Mura Masa does seem a bit 'average', I mean I do like What If I Go and Lovesick, but I'm not sold on any of his other stuff sad.gif

01. ODESZA - A Moment Apart

Charting Singles:
03-06-2017 09 ODESZA - Line of Sight ft. WYNNE & Mansionair [13-11-9-18-16-22-33](7)
15-07-2017 20 ODESZA - Higher Ground ft. Naomi Wild [40-35-23-20-23-32-38-40](8)
14-10-2017 14 ODESZA - Across The Room ft. Leon Bridges [26-15-14-18-27-29-35](7)

A Moment Apart is the third studio album by the Seattle-based electronic music duo ODESZA, released on 8 September 2017 through Counter, Ninja Tune and Foreign Family Collective.
Idk what to even say about this album, never in a million years did I ever think they'd be able to outdo In Return, but boy, I think they may just have with A Moment Apart. Although no single track from the album manages to reach levels of songs such as Sun Models, and none of the singles really managed to grab me, aside from Line Of Sight, the album as a whole is an entirely other story. Just listen to the transition between Intro and the first track, A Moment Apart to understand what I mean. No other album has managed to tell me such a story and take me on such a journey like this one has. If you have heard the singles from this and not enjoyed them very much, trust me, give the album a listen as a whole, it takes you to a different world, packed full of velvety melodies and lyrically driven emotional ballads, it truly is an outstanding piece, best enjoyed as a whole, instead of in parts. I still listen to this album when I'm stressed and just a need a moment away from things which is why it easily becomes my favourite album of 2017

Like the albums of Mura Masa, Calvin Harris, Avicii and Dua Lipa!
"Evolve" was kind of decent.
And the I still need to hear the other albums yet!

Loving the albums - Imagine Dragons, Mura Masa, Dua Lipa, & Avicii especially!

I adored Believer when it was first released and remains a favourite of mine of this year. Thunder and Whatever It Takes are great singles too heart.gif

Love$ick was on repeat for me late last year, then 1 Night earlier this year dance.gif A great album from someone I can't wait to hear more from.

Dua Lipa is brilliant too, all 8/9 singles are great and most of the album tracks are good too wub.gif

My only issue with Avicii's EP is that it was an EP and not an album kink.gif

Great albums all around wub.gif

I've not heard the Odesza album but I should.

I liked Mura Masa's album but I felt disappointed at the same time.

Hi Bridgecow

Oops, I think I've only heard Faking It of the entire last batch of 10 :') A shame it missed the top 100 despite being a #1 hit on your chart but it's always the case when songs peak at the same time EOY season comes around cry.gif It was my favourite track immediately when I first heard the album so I'm really happy it got the single treatment even if I am a little gutted that it never took off at all sad.gif

15-04-2017 15 Kiiara - Whippin ft. Felix Snow [17-15-19-21-24-29-34-40](8)

"Whippin" is a song by American singer Kiiara, featuring American electronic music producer Felix Snow. It was released on April 12, 2017 via Atlantic Records, as the lead single from her upcoming debut studio album.
I have to say I was surprised to see this sneak into the top 100, I had completely forgotten that I charted this and I haven't heard since like June, but it's quite a tune so I'm happy to see it here, although it's nowhere near as good as Gold, Feels or Tennesee from low kii savage

99. Tove Lo - Disco Tits

Chart Peak: 15

Chart Histories:

Tove Lo
09-09-2017 15 Tove Lo - Disco Tits [27-19-16-15-21-25-32-40](8)

"Disco Tits" (sometimes stylized as "disco tits") is a song recorded by Swedish singer and songwriter Tove Lo. It was released on 7 September 2017 as the lead single from Lo's third studio album, Blue Lips.
This wasn't completely what I was expecting from Tove Lo, but there's no complaints here, it's just the right amount of crazy and insane to get by and has an amazing video to accompany it, strong lead single from a mostly disappointing album

Posted by: dancember 16th December 2017, 04:01 PM

Whippin is quite alright but a bit of a downgrade from Gold. She was quite an obvious one-hit wonder though really.

Didn't get Disco Tits at all, it's too much even for her I think. Hope we get a hit sounding single from her soon (is she even trying for commercial success anymore though? doesn't feel like it).

Yeah it's a shame she's such a one hit wonder cus I think she had a lot of potential, Gold not even being big over here is such a travesty
I think she's definitely given up with commercial success, but if she tried I think she could definitely get a hit

18-02-2017 14 Calippo - Alive [18-14-18-20-24-28-33-39](8)

This is quite a nice house tune that made my chart earlier this year, it's very Selected and probably peaked a bit higher than it should have but it's really good. Calippo's released lots of great bangers after this but none have managed to make my chart, although The Flavor and We'll Be Heard got pretty close

Kyla
19-08-2017 13 Zac Samuel - Play It Cool ft. Kyla [24-21-17-13-17-24-30-37](8)

This is a nice house tune from Zac Samuel, with good vocals from Kyla, not much else to say about this pretty standard deep house track, but it's certainly an imporvement from his Takes A Little Time EP

hi.gif BridgeCow !! I don't think I'll ever get Tove Lo laugh.gif Stay High/Habits was a phenomenal song but everything since then has been too edgy or tuneless to make any impression on me. This seems waaaay too low, but it's a victim of my weird early chart runs, it's not Major Lazer's best but it is a bop and it deserved to be a bigger hit, it's got that classic major lazer vibe but still feels fresh, at least their follow up Know No Better was an improvement and will be appearing later

"It Ain't Me" is a song by Norwegian DJ Kygo and American singer Selena Gomez. It was released by Sony and Ultra on 17 February 2017 as the lead single from Kygo's first EP, Stargazing.
Well this is RIDICULOUSLY low, wtaf even is that chart run what was I doing, this is probably Kygo's best stuff this year even though his other stuff has peaked higher (the fact First Time even peaked higher ew), if I had any sense this probably would have made number 1

Really didn't enjoy that Robin Schulz track oops.

Hiya BridgeCow!! How come your chart runs changed so drastically in the second half of the year? ohmy.gif

It Ain't Me and Run Up are definitely both too low though as you mentioned laugh.gif Probably my favourite Selena track of the year, she sounds so good on dance productions wub.gif

Nicki has had even bigger bangers this year but her verse on Run Up is fantastic! I do wish the chorus was a bit more exciting though - she would have sounded amazing on a Lean On/Light It Up uptempo style track I think! sad.gif

I Believe I'm Fine: Good song from his new album, isn't my favourite song his new album though.
It Ain't Me: Fantastic song, Kygo and Selena have good chemistry, the drop is great and the vocals from Selena are beautiful!
Run Up: Surprisingly the collaboration worked! Shocked to say, but it's true!
Disco Tits: For me, this was a disapointing lead single from an album that was very improved from her previous album "Ladywood".

Hi!!
idk tbh but just when I first started my chart my chart runs were just really short and weird, songs would have huge drops randomly and it was painfully to look at, they just seemed to change with time thankfully
Yeah her voice does work on dance songs really well
Yeah Run Up is a bit on the dull side which probably hindered it's success, it's a shame they didn't use Nicki better

07-10-2017 10 Khalid - Young, Dumb & Broke [29-19-10-11-13-20-28-34](8)

"Young Dumb & Broke" is a song by American singer Khalid. It was released as a single on February 2, 2017, by Right Hand Music Group and RCA Records as the second single from his debut studio album American Teen.
When I first heard this it never really grabbed me, I thought it was decent but nothing amazing, Khalid had loads better on his album, so when it began to take off I was a bit surprised but I gave it another chance an it really clicked with me, it's got such a nice chilled vibe and really stands out from the other songs charting rn, and it's probably become my second favourite off American Teen, behind Location. But I still don't get how tf this took off and Location didn't

Think that's simply down to Khalid being somewhat of a name by the time YD&B came about following featured appearances. Location is actually certified Silver in the UK due to strong trickle streaming I believe, though it got no sales or airplay push.

I believe I'm Fine was a decent track, grew on me pretty quickly but tailed off quickly as well sad.gif At least there were some other great tracks on his album!

Hi BridgeCow

I was like you at first with YDB where it was an OK track but nothing particularly exciting and I didn't go back to it for a little while. It ended up being a massive slow burner for me though and one of the longest personal chart runs on my chart this year ohmy.gif I'm glad he finally got his solo hit in the UK but I do wish Location was a huge smash too sad.gif

"More Than You Know" is a song by Swedish dance music duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso and features uncredited vocals from Kristoffer Fogelmark. The song was released in Sweden as a digital download on 27 May 2017, and as the tenth single from their debut studio album More Than You Know.
This seems farrrr too low, but it did get old for me quite quick, and as I said somewhere else here, it had a bit of a second surge for me but I couldn't make myself give it a 8-15-4 chart run or something so it just kept falling whoops. If only this could have been a bigger hit officially but radio just refused to get behind it sooo, a shame cus I'm not sure I could see them getting another hit again sad.gif

"Faking It" is a song by Scottish DJ and record producer Calvin Harris. It features vocals from American singer Kehlani and American rapper Lil Yachty. It was released as the fifth single from Harris's fifth studio album, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 (2017).
Well this is definitely way too low (I can see I'm gonna be saying this a lot lol) I think Calvin repeatedly releasing singles kind of hindered this chart run a bit causing it to fall quite fast, but this is one of the best from the album and still stands up to repeated listens, it's one of the sounds of summer for me music.gif also I just realised I messed up Faking It's chart points by forgetting to include it's initial run so that positions wrong :'(

"First Time" is a song by Norwegian DJ Kygo and English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding. It was released on 28 April 2017,[3] as the second single from Kygo's first EP, Stargazing (2017).
Well it's criminal that this is higher than It Ain't Me, it certainly isn't some of Kygo's best but I still quite enjoy it, although nowhere near as much as IAM. Such a shame this is the last thing Kygo's had a somewhat hit with. Stargazing deserved better sad.gif

'First Time' and 'More Than You Know' are tunes too, both just missed out on my top 100.

Now we come to the first song in the top 100 that is still currently charting, great return single from Philip George and although it's no house banger like his previous stuff, it's still incredibly solid production with really nice vocals, I hope he can deliver another hit at some point, but it doesn't seem likely

Hiya!

First Time is super under-rated, it seems to get a hard time on Buzzjack but I've always thought it was really catchy and I like Ellie's vocals on it too. It's certainly not as good as IAM as you mentioned but it's still a bit of a banger, I was hoping it would be a bigger chart hit than it actually was cry.gif

Rollin' is really good too, I wish he had pushed it as a proper single rather than just a promotional one. I always liked the funky production on it and it was my favourite track of the era until Feels came along. music.gif

Nora En Pure has released loads of great stuff this year, this being my favourite, but also only one to chart (although her new one Trailblazer should have something to say about that soon) It's got such nice production per usual, but has quite a different sound to her usual stuff, so nice and chilled and has loads of emotion, couldn't stop playing this over summer so it's 9 peak feels quite low!

Don Diablo's had a really great year this year, changing up his style a bit but still delivering tunes, and this is a great example, it's a big change from typical Don Diablo but it's so irresistibly catchy and I find my self-singing it in my head all the time, and it has such a nice video too, can't wait for his album early next year

"Just for One Night" is a song by English duo Blonde, featuring Norwegian singer-songwriter Astrid S. It was released to digital retailers on 16 June 2017, through Parlophone Records and FFRR Records.
Blonde's big summer single was, well slightly underwhelming, with him conforming to the generic future bass dominating the summer I was, at first, not really on board with this, but it is incredibly catchy and really nice and summery and it's a shame it was never given much support cus I think it could have been a hit, it's 9 peak is definitely misleading as this has gone on to become one of my faves of the year, but Blonde to return with a house banger next year to smash tho pls

Posted by: ►▲NT▲ CL▲ 24th December 2017, 01:43 PM

Tears In Your Eyes fell a bit flat for me, though that's most likely due to Waves overshadowing it.

I expect Trailblazer will be big for me next year too, that's very good.

Take Her Place is alright but I prefer Don't Let Go, that did quite well for me (#51 peak but spent about 15 weeks in the chart).

Really disappointed with the Blonde song. sad.gif

Posted by: Dobservance 24th December 2017, 05:15 PM

I've still only really ever loved one of Nora's tracks which is Tell My Heart (well, and it's sister track Lake Arrowhead).

Young, Dumb & Broke took an age to grow for me but it's SO good heart.gif

Posted by: Petelehem 24th December 2017, 08:01 PM

Take Her Place is quite nice, not a scratch on Save a Little Love though and when this begins it does sound kind-of spooky laugh.gif

Just For One Night was such a grower though! I didn't think anything of it at first but then I caught myself singing it whilst I was away and now it gives me nice memories of the summer heart.gif

"Young Dumb & Broke": Nice song from an up and coming artist! Also the song was in a recent medley with "Thunder" by Imagine Dragons for some reason.
"More Than You Know": We somehow love the song and it was #1 in my country, in my opinion the song is great!
"Rollin": Very underappreciated, great song and a great combination that I thought would be bad but wasn't bad at all!
"First Time": Like Kygo, Like Ellie, great combination, great song!
"Just For One Night": What an underrated summer single!

Nice to see Evolve high although I don't like Thunder (I don't see the appeal for that song) but I'm happy everytime I see them be succesful.

On the other side, I like a lot It Ain't Me but not First Time, I feel like something is missing in that song.

"Anywhere" is a song by British singer Rita Ora. It was released by Atlantic Records UK on 20 October 2017 as the second single from Ora's upcoming second studio album.
After the incerdibly mediocre Your Song which I had gotten very fed up of after it's 3 months of massive overexposure, I wasn't exactly very excited to hear more from here but, of course, I was surprised, with incredibly smooth and danceable production along with a really catchy chorus, this is really is peak 2017 pop, now if only it could have made number 1 sad.gif

I've never heard of Frank Walker before but I checked this out cus of Sam Feldt and I'm so glad I did, it's got that typical tropical production you'd expect from Sam Feldt but the chorus itself is so insanely catchy and I had this in my head pretty much the whole summer. The only other thing I've actually liked from Sam this year is a track from his album (idk which one) called Lost On Me which got veryyy close to charting but never quite made it

16-09-2017 03 Illenium - Leaving ft. EDEN [29-15-9-7-3-5-10-12-19-24-30-37](12)

After I first listened to EDEN's EP early this year, I was instantly dragged in by his unique mixture of sounds and raw emotion he manages to express in his music, with XO going straight to number 1 in February. So when I saw new music I quickly checked out and it's safe to say I was very impressed, it's such a fresh and unique sound that I haven't seen in any music around atm, it has fairly odd production but it works so insanely well and is such a journey of a song, his album comes out in January which I'm very excited to hear

I've been seeing the name EDEN around without having heard any of his music, just listened to 'XO' and 'start//end' now and they're both... interesting. I thought he'd be one of those Ed Sheeran types by the first part of 'XO' but then it really turns good.

"Wolves" is a song by American singer Selena Gomez and electronic dance music producer and DJ, Marshmello. The song was released on October 25, 2017.
After the amazing Silence, when I saw Marshmello was collabing with Selena, I couldn't help but feel like I was gonna be dissapointed, my expectations were extremely high and when it finally came out, it didn't dissapoint, it seemed to quite divisive but I love the subtle drop and the dark and gloomy atmosphere so it was great to see this go top 10

"I Miss You" is a song by British electronic music group Clean Bandit, featuring vocals from American singer and songwriter Julia Michaels. The song was released to digital retailers on 27 October 2017, as the fifth single from Clean Bandit's upcoming second studio album.
Now we come to the first number 1 in the top 100, only this low due to being still in the chart. When this came out it seemed to have a lot of split opinions but it was really instant for me, it's nice and chilled and sounds perfect for this time of year

Great house tune from CAZZETTE, after switching up his style a bit with Blue Sky and Static last year, this was another great release from him, with amazing vocals from Leo Stannard this has gone on to become one of my faves from CAZZETTE, and unfortunately the only thing I've really liked from them this year

01-04-2017 27 Cashmere Cat - 9 (After Coachella) ft. MØ & SOPHIE [27-33-37](3)

"Don't Leave" is a song by British duo Snakehips and Danish singer MØ. It was released on 6 January 2017 through Sony Music.
After the amazing Cruel and All My Friends last year, I was very excited by the prospect of a MØ collab, and boy did it deliver, packed full of raw emotion and powerful production I was really blown away by this and was so glad to see it become a hit, although it did get old kind of quickly for me. A shame Snakehips haven't managed to release anything as good this year, although Either Way was a bop, hopefully they can release another smash next year

I Miss You and Wolves are both really good, both quite subtle in their production but quickly grew on me.

Now this is a good example of when future bass is actually really good, the amount of emotion and feeling DROELOE manage to pack into this really make it stand out for me although the entire A Moment In Time EP is fantastic, I rarely listen to stuff like this tbh but it's such a great, powerful song but still manages to be subtle, I'm excited to hear more from them and their recent releases have been really great as well, including a banging remix of Charli XCX's Boys

16-12-2017 08 Camila Cabello & Grey - Crown [13-11-8]

I stumbled across this song randomly one day interested by Grey of Starving fame, expecting it to be standard future bass, but it has really strong and fierce production, it's a very powerful song with amazing vocals, it's incredibly atomspheric song and really shows off Grey's ability to produce outside of Zedd collabs, his whole Chameleon EP was amazing too, as shown in my album EOY list, and their collab with Camila Cabello is an absolute tune as well, I'd expect this duo to have a very big 2018

Stargazing is the third(!) Kygo entry already so far! I really do like this, however basic Kygo it is, it sounds like a surefire hit so it's a shame it never took off! Really really nice video too

"You Don't Know Me" is a song by English DJ and record producer Jax Jones featuring vocals from Raye. Ok it actually hurts me physically to see this so low down, but it's a victim of me not having a chart last year, when it would have peaked for me (most likely at number one) so in the new year this wasn't as big for me so I just couldn't place it any higher than 6 sad.gif , hopefully Breathe can make up for it's lack of success here as it already as has 4 weeks at number 1!

Now we come to the second number 1 of the countdown so far! This is definitely far too low but it did get quite old for me quickly initially due to me massively overplaying it, but it's gone on to easily become my favourite of Martin's future bass stuff, a shame his most recent release hasn't managed to stand up to this, peaking at just 18, hopefully he can step his game up a bit more next year and get another smash!

"Feels" is a song recorded and produced by Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. It features vocals from American singer-songwriters Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and American rapper Big Sean. It was released on 15 June 2017 through Sony Music as the fourth single from his fifth studio album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 (2017)
I was kinda surprised to see this so low, but then again, not really, I mean, don't get me wrong, I really really like Feels, but it probably doesn't even make my top 5 songs from the album tbh, it's great but there's much better for me, and it only made it so high here due to it being such a big hit, even though I would have way preffered Rollin' or Slide or Faking It to be the big hit this was, I'm just glad Calvin has managed to grab another number 1 (although he technically shouldn't have but who cares)

Here's the third number 1 so far, a massive hit in Australia that I was kinda hoping would crossover her, but it of course never did, Peking Duk have had 2 further entries throughout the year but none have them have done anywhere near as well as Stranger, so I can see Peking Duk remaining a bit of a one hit wonder on my chart, also I'm enjoying the fact Elliphant is only one of two artists to have 2 number ones on my chart lol (the other being Martin Garrix)

I seemed to be in the minority that actually really enjoyed this, it was a bit different for Kygo but I was really here for it, the first single from his, well, incredibly flop album, although an undeservedly flop one imo, unfortunately, Kygo's quick release schedule of songs from the album caused this to fall pretty fast out of the top 40, and honestly, I haven't come back to this that much since the album, listening to the much much better Stranger Things (which also fell quite fast whoops)

24-06-2017 03 Black Saint - Never Did This Before [19-12-7-3-6-12-16-27-37](9)

One of two Black Saint entries this year (Could You Love Me? to come later) and wow, they've both been really really good, the production on this not being anything too special, the insanely catchy vocals are what make this stand out to me, although this peaked higher than CYLM? it didn't quite have the same longevity causing it to place kinda low here, both of their singles so far have sounded like massive hits tbh, so I'm holding out hope that they can manage one someday!

After loving Freak and Icarus last year, when I saw this came out earlier this year I was intrigued, but still not fully on board with r3hab's new style, but wow this impressed me, it's got mesmerising vocals and typical nu r3hab pitched vocals and future bass production, so understandably not for everyone, so I can't see there being many fans of this on here, but I really love it and it still sounds great wub.gif

Well this was very different for Lemaitre, but boy does it work well, with fierce production and a really strong drop this stands out amongst his releases and his most recent album, but yet still manages to really capture Lemaitre's classic sound, with sweeping vocals from Noyes (who's been really on top of it this year) this will remain a firm fave of Lemaitre's for me I think, also the video is actually amazing

23-09-2017 18 Lorde - Homemade Dynamite (Remix) ft. Khalid, Post Malone, SZA [32-25-18-24-29-36](6)

"Green Light" is a song by New Zealand singer Lorde, from her second album, Melodrama (2017). The song was released on 2 March 2017 as the album's lead single by Universal Music New Zealand.
Hate to sound basic but this really is THAT song isn't it, when I saw Lorde was releasing new stuff I ofc knew it was gonna be good, but was not expecting it to be this good, it did get a bit old for me at first, but it's stood up to be one of the best of 2017 easily, and the album is just as good if not better tbh (The Louvre is a masterpiece y did I not chart it???). So happy she managed to get a decent sized hit out of this but it really deserved to be much much bigger

Chart Histories:
21-10-2017 15 NF - Let You Down [36-25-19-15-21-19-24-32-36-36-40-TBC](10)

"Let You Down" is a song by American Christian hip hop artist and songwriter NF. It serves as the third single from his third studio album, Perception, and was released on September 14, 2017
As generic as this is, I really am a sucker for these catchy pop/rap crossover hits (when they're not called Walk On Water) and this is a pretty perfect example of one, it may 'Spotify trash' but it really stands out for me, it holds a lot more emotion than the typical song of this type, so I guess I have to thank payola for letting this go top 10 in the UK

02-12-2017 01 Jax Jones - Breathe ft. Ina Wroldsen [1-1-3-1-1](5)

"Places" is a song by French DJ and record producer Martin Solveig featuring vocals from Norwegian singer/songwriter Ina Wroldsen.
Well this certainly seems FAR FAR too low, but it's definitely more of a 2016 song for me, and if I had a chart then this most likely would have been a huge multi-week number 1 for me, I love everything about this song so much, the amazing vocals courtesy of Ina (who's had another huge dance feature on my chart in the form of Breathe) and even the slightly generic pitched vocal drop, which works so amazingly well for some reason, it's different to Martin's other stuff but man is it good, was so happy to see this become at least somewhat of a hit (although it did manage some amazing longevity), if only the follow up All Stars could have had the chance too...

Quite a nice house track, very upbeat and summery, not really anything special tho tbh not entirely sure how it managed to get so high, just had really good longevity for some reason, it's not bad by any means but I wouldn't say it's in my top 59 songs of the year...

Now this is one of 3 Louis The Child appearances in the top 100, this was pretty different for them are marked the start of a different sound for their EP, but it really is so good, Elohim delivers wonderful vocals and the soft production compliments so well, the whole song is just so nice to listen to and it's kind of an earworm tbh

19-08-2017 17 Luca Shreiner - Out Of My Mind ft. Loé [17-26-34](3)

Well, the only Matoma song I've charted all year and it's originally a song from from 2016 whoops, the original of this didn't do much for me, being a bit too chilled and basic tropical, but I decided to give this remix a listen due to Luca Shreiner and I was so impressed! This gives it so much more energy and even the vocals sound miles better and so much more interesting! He really transformed the song and it has a very Major Lazer vibe, would have been better for summer rather than January but whatever. After such a good 2016, Matoma's been a bit dissapointing this year tbh, and Slow from his upcoming album wasn't exactly a step forward tbh, fingers crossed he can deliver this year although my hopes are diminishing

Well this is another one that's far far too low down, I've recently fall in love with this again due to the BBC one christmas ad, but overplay killed this for me pretty fast for me initially unfortunately but it still sounds soooo good and Zara is ofc amazing on it, however for me it's Rockabye>I Miss You> Symphony, but if anything that's just a testament to how strong Clean Bandit's singles are, so excited for the album when it finally comes out

So this was pretty different for AlunaGeorge and it didn't really do it for a lot of people, but it was pretty instant to me, it's so bubbly and uplifting and just so simply fun that I couldn't help but bop to it, it's not gonna touch some of AlunaGeorge's best ofc but it's really nice and sooo irresistibly catchy. Now this is just a random album track from Uncovered, when I first listened through the album I kinda glossed over it but I heard it again later the same day and it really hit me for some reason, not sure why this stands out to me so much as it seems pretty standard but there's something special about it that really grips me. Rhys's vocals are stunning and the drop is so insanely infectious and I find myself whistling to it all day, and it's gone on to become my favourite from Uncovered!

When this first came out I completely didn't get the negative reaction, it's the perfect definition of a feel good summer bop tbh, although I sort of understand how he underused Ariana bit, but her bits are so great it doesn't really matter. It should have done so much better officially, but tbf it is one of those songs that sounds miles better in context of the album, where it's a real standout for me

Didn't get Turn Up The Love at all, how odd for the quality to dip that much from just last year (2016) when they were putting out banger after banger. At least we got one good song out of Aluna, I am of course talking about the Avicii collab. biggrin.gif

I do enjoy Heatstroke but it is one of the weakest on the album in my opinion! Shouldn't have been a single.

13-05-2017 06 NEIKED - Call Me ft. Mimi [12-11-9-6-8-13-18-21-29-38](10)

It's safe to say, after Sexual was one of my top songs of 2016, I was excited to hear more from NEIKED, and while Call Me wasn't totally what I was expecting, I've really grown to love it, it's such a chilled, summery bop and it really deserves to have been a hit, but I'm sure NEIKED will forever remain one hit wonders now sad.gif Excited to hear what's to come from them this year as they've very quickly propelled themselves into being one of my top artists to look out for (despite only releasing like 1 single a year ffs). Call Me has become pretty much one of my songs of the summer and it's really defined summer 2017 for me now and I have some really great memories associated with it so I'm glad it managed to scrape top 50

This peaked really quickly for me, it hit me really instantly and I love the 80s vibes and Fetty Wap actually sounds good (ohmy.gif) it's incredibly catcy but I got tired of it pretty quickly tbh, probs just more cus of me overplaying it rather than the actual song itself, anyway, interested to see what's coming from them this year,a dn hopefully an album!

26-08-2017 24 WESLEE - Bathwater [24-24-28-35](4)

I remember hearing this as R1's hottest record and wasn't expecting much, but I was completely blown away, WESLEE's debut and it really is so interesting, it's very minimalist but in such a good way, it's got amazing vocals and the production is so intriguing and almost mesmerising, I couldn't help but want to listen over and over again, it's so powerful but so simple, it sounds so fresh and different to any other stuff around, it's so so underrated. WESLEE have released some other stuff this year, including Bathwater which is a pretty catchy bop tbf, but nothing has managed to come close to the brilliance of this unfortunately sad.gif

I absolutely despised Sexual but I actually really like Call Me! It's one of those fast-paced, catchy dance tunes you get stuck in your head and can't resist music.gif Love it!

Posted by: Avicii 10th January 2018, 10:24 PM

Never got into either of NEIKED's songs, they fell really flat for me and aren't all that dancey anyway.

Didn't like the Cheat Codes/Fetty song either. sad.gif

A bit late but sooooo excited to see 'Two High' here!!! It's so catchy, I had no idea it was popular on Spotify! There go my plans of sending it to BJSC this year laugh.gif

Shame you haven't enjoyed NEIKED, but I think Call Me is pretty dancey tbh, at least more so than half the 'dance' that charts nowadays anyway, and certainly more so than Sexual

03-06-2017 32 Zedd - Stay ft. Alessia Cara (Petit Biscuit Remix) [40-32-39](

So when this first came out I was incredibly dissapointed by it, it wasn't by any means bad, it was catchy and Alessia provided great vocals, but it just wasn't Zedd, however, it grew on me quickly, it's incredibly infectious and the production isn't quite as bland as it seems at first, it's absolutely nothing on Zedd's greats, but I can appreciate it. The follow up Get Low however... Hopefully 2018 Zedd is more Stay than Get Low, and I might be able to enjoy his output again

Troye Sivan
27-05-2017 01 Martin Garrix & Troye Sivan - There For You [1-3-3-3-4-7-11-17-27-40](10)

A big part of me thinks that I shouldn't like this anywhere near as much as I do, it's just typical basic future bass, even more so than ITNOL and STBL, that has so obviously been produced by Garrix in hopes of getting a hit and it comes through pretty obviously, but something about this, idk if it's Garrix's high production quality or Troye's amazing vocals, really stands out and sets this apart and I can't help but just really love it, it's probably the weakest of his future bass singles (bar So Far Away, but let's just forget about that) and really shouldn't have made number 1 in hindsight, but I think that's just a testament to the greatness of Martin Garrix

46 & 47 both collaborations that sound amazing on paper, yet were mostly disappointing releases laugh.gif I quite like them both (Stay > Get Low anyday) but I remember Stay being such a let-down for me from Zedd after fully loving his second album. There For You was kind of similar, although my hopes weren’t quite as high tongue.gif

08-04-2017 17 The Chainsmokers - Don't Say ft. Emily Warren [18-18-17-21-25-32-37](7)

Now, this is a divisive one, I absolutely love it, it's got such a nice vibe and it's such a head bop, but it's certainly easy to understand those who see it as lazy and boring and it's hard to argue against the idea of The Chainsmokers selling out to make basic pop music and chase hits when this is pretty much the perfect example of this

#45, #46, #47 and #49 are all great songs!

Posted by: Avicii 14th January 2018, 02:32 PM

There For You was quite dull in my view, he's really gone on autopilot with his last few releases - at least Name of Love and Scared had great vocalists (and better production) but Troye is highly overrated and doesn't add anything to the song.

I quite liked Paris actually despite Andrew being a poor vocalist, the instrumentation had a bit to it rather than just being a standard future bass track though.

Posted by: PeteFromLeeds 15th January 2018, 07:22 PM

All the last three were fairly nice at the time, but they all seem a little generic now. Much prefer Alessia's other output though

14-10-2017 01 Riton x MNEK - Deeper ft. House Gospel Choir [17-9-1-1-2-4-5-9-14-20-24-30-35](13)

Well this one certainly surprised me a lot, I'd liked Riton's past releases, especially Rinse & Repeat, but none of them really managed to fully grab me, I hadn't loved any of his releases until this. I was at first intrigued by MNEK who I like pretty much everything from, but it hit me so instantly. The production is so fresh and interesting, especially for Riton who seems to have a problem of producing the same sound over and over, MNEK delivers amazing vocals ofc, and the choir really lifts up the song and gives it a whole lot of energy. It's one of my highlights of the year and has still to get old for me really, would be much much higher if it was released earlier in the year I suspect. Hope Riton can deliver more like this this year

Now, I'm not gonna lie, I completely couldn't remember how this goes at all, I had to listen to it before writing this, Idk why I forgot about this but I think it's outstanding genericness might be a factor. It's not bad by any means and it's pretty catchy and summery and has a nice use of trumpets in the drop, but I honestly have no idea how this managed to peak so high laugh.gif sounds like the sort of song that should've charted low top 40 for like a week or two tbh

I remember first hearing this earlier in 2017 when it was first playlisted on R1 and thinking nothing of it, but it kept on cropping up throughout year and during it's second push when it eventually became a hit, it really clicked with me. Not usually the sort of thing I chart but I completely fell in love with this, Mabel's voice is lush and it's got such a chilled vibe and feel that felt quite fresh to hear in the chart. Hopefully Mabel's future releases can stand up to this

So after the amazing Sunshine, I was very excited to see what else TIEKS had to offer, and although this is completely not what I was expecting, it really is so so good. It's so summery and upbeat and I can't help but go mad when I hear this, it has certainly firmly cemented TIEKS on my radar now, but it's such a shame that nothing like this would ever be a hit sad.gif

I still remember how hyped I was for this the day of the BRITs when it leaked on a spotify banner during the day before they premiered it, I think I knew it was gonna make my number 1 before I even heard it, if only it could have managed it officially too. It's pretty classic Chainsmokers, but it really is them being at their best, probably due to them basically ripping off one of their previous bests: Roses. It did get old on me very quickly tho, and still has yet to grow back on me I think. Shame it looks like we won't be getting anything like this from them soon, but I'm so here for their new direction if Sick Boy is anything to go by

16-12-2017 11 Louis The Child - Last To Leave ft. Caroline Ailin [24-15-14-11-11-13]

Well this one was certainly very different for Louis The Child, it was a real standout on their EP (although not my fave as that's still to come), and I wasn't 100% sure about it at first but it grew on me really quickly, and just got better and better with every listen, it has an insanely catchy beat that engrains itself into your head, but still has that class Louis The Child chilled vibe but the song just makes you feel so good and I can't help but smile listening to it. I've recently fallen back in love with this again via it appearing on an some Apple advert a few months back

29-09-2017 21 Disciples - Jealousy [28-23-21-23-29-36](6)

This is certainly of the best surprise hits of the year, I don't think many people could have guessed that in the 2017 chart climate that Disciples would be able to grab another hit, but I'm so glad they did. I remember seeing this blow up on iTunes suddenly one day and being so over the moon about it, it's so unique and fresh compared to most of the other stuff in the chart today, and manages to sound so new, whilst still keeping that classic Disciples vibe. The production is so slick, and the vocals are so catchy, it should have been much much bigger than a #15 peak. A shame their follow up Jealousy wasn't quite as good, but I think it gets too much hate tbh. So hyped for their album this year and I so hope they can manage another hit (although that seems unlikely tbf)

I really love this, it's so refereshing for Avicii, and although it's so much more stripped back and chilled compared with his usual stuff, it really works so well, the production is so smooth and Rita provides amazing vocals (ofc) but I'm still not over this becoming a huge hit and Without You doing nothing sad.gif butt I guess I can't complain too much as at least he did manage another huge hit, and a bigger one than I was expecting too, and he's helped to find a newfound love for Rita Ora that I didn't know existed! ohmy.gif

William Singe
13-05-2017 02 Jonas Blue - Mama ft. William Singe [10-7-7-2-4-7-11-16-22-27-40](11)

I was not expecting this to be such a huge summer smash when it first came out, but I'm glad it did! It may have pretty basic production and fairly cringy lyrics but for some reason it just works, it's such a fun, upbeat summer song, but unfortunately, it's immense overplay throughout the summer months has kind of made this unlistenable for me rn, which is a shame as this is the last song I've really loved from Jonas as his recent output has been largely disappointing. Hoping he can still have a good 2018 and not fade into irrelevancy, but I feel like this is gonna end up happening

04-03-2017 01 Ansah - I Know [3-1-2-2-3-3-8-13-22-27-34](11)

so, not gonna lie, I honestly could not remember how this song went like at all, but upon listening to it again, I've just realised how much of a f*cking TUNE it is. I remember just randomly scrolling through some of Selected's older releases, looking for new music, and this clicked with me instantly and I got completely hooked on it. It's got an incredibly catchy, repetitive vocal and a really great deep house production, but it seems to stand out among Selected's releases for me, for some reason. Admittedly, this probably peaked a fair bit higher than it should have but it's so so good wub.gif

33. Galantis - True Feeling

02-09-2017 11 Galantis & ROZES - Girls On Boys [16-12-11-19-26-34](6)
16-09-2017 17 Galantis - Call Me Home [18-17-21-30-39](5)

Well, this is one that really shouldn't have made number 1 tbh, it was only propelled up due to the fact that there just wasn't really much around at the time that even slightly felt #1 worthy, so this stole a week, followed by a pretty quick drop. The song really isn't bad though, it was such an inane step up from Galantis's previous singles that had all been very disappointing (Rich Boy aside which was ok). It managed to capture the classic Galantis vibe that was missing from their previous singles. It's seriously underrated and so is their album, in which the singles are probably the weakest songs on there (apart from True Feeling ofc). Such a shame they've seemed to completely lose their star power and I wonder if they're even gonna manage another hit again?? sad.gif

24-06-2017 03 Black Saint - Never Did This Before [19-12-7-3-6-12-16-27-37](9)

This certainly deserves to be higher and definitely deserves a higher peak than 4, if there was any justice it would have nabbed a week or two at number 1, but alas, my weird early chart runs would not allow it. Everything about this song is great, the production is so deep and sublime and the vocals are so smooth and the chorus is so catchy (something Black Saint seem to do well), the drop is a tad underwhelming but the chilled, stripped back production works so so well, and the trumpets sound so nice. I remember seeing this repeatedly crop up in the lower ends of the iTunes top 100 so I was really rooting for it to be a hit, but it was not to be sad.gif Excited to hear what's to come from them and I've heard talk about an album so I hope this is true, but I can't see them ever topping this tbh

25-02-2017 04 Calvin Harris - Slide ft. Frank Ocean & Migos [4-7-9-13-12-11-16-21-25-27-35-38](12)

The start of Calvin's 'Funk Wav' era, and boyyyy was it good. Though, this was quite polarizing for me at first (only really debuting at 4 cus Calvin) and I wasn't really sure about it, but once more singles started to come out I got it way more and realized it's amazingness. It's easilyyyy my favourite out of the Funk Wav singles. The production is so nice and summery and Frank Ocean actually sounds so good (ohmy.gif). It's probs in my top 10 calvin songs ever now, and I can see me coming back to this for a looong time. This or Rollin' really deserved to be as huge hits as Feels tbh :/

This is honestly such a dream collab, it perfectly mixed Felix's classic chilled vibes and deep drops, and R3hab's upbeat pitched style and really creates such a beautiful song. I can see most people hating this but it works for me on so many levels. Felix Cartal is one of my favourite artists rn and he's got an album coming out soon which I'm insanely excited for, so expect to see more of him in my chart next year!

06-01-2017 14 EDEN - crash [32-25-19-14-TBC]

Speaking of dream collabs wub.gif this isn't even a collab I was ever expecting to happen, but I am SO happy it did. EDEN's phenomenal vocals and Illenium's powerful production fuse together PERFECTLY to create such an amazing song. EDEN manages to capture so much emotion during the verses and build up and the drop still manages to keep that emotion but completely go off at the same time. This is easily my favourite from Awake and I still vividly remember the day this came out and I completely flipped my shit listening to it for the first time. This really is among Illenium's best, which is a very very high bar

Amazing house banger courtesy of JLV here, found this at the start of the year from Selected, having never heard of JLV before, but he just kept impressing with release after release, so he's had a pretty great year on my chart. JLV has such a signature sound in his drops that just work so well for me, if you haven't heard this I definitely suggest you check it out if your into this deep house sort of stuff. He never had any really big hits on my chart after Alone, but his new one: Darkness, is looking to change that

Well this was pretty different for Redlight, and I think for quite a few people it didn't really work, but I absolutely love this, it's so insanely catchy and the production is so nice, and Kojo Funds's bits are SO good. It sounds like a massive hit tbh but it would never have happened. This seemed to fly under a lot of people's radars which is a shame cus it's really great. Excited for his album coming out this year and hoping he has more stuff like this on there

Well this really is the ANTHEM of 2017 tbh, this really has been Dua's year and she really really deserves it. Her album was amazing and New Rules is literally the definition of pop perfection. Everything about this is just perfect, amazing vocals, amazing lyrics, amazing production, amazing video, etc... This deserved to blow up as much as it did and I'm so glad it's completely launched her into complete stardom. This isn't even my favourite song from Dua (Last Dance says hi) but I have to praise it for letting Dua become so big, and I'm so excited to see what 2018 has in store for her

Well this absolute tune wub.gif my second ever BJSC entry (and my favourite so far). Everything about this is outstanding, from the luscious deep house production to the overall chilled vibe, this is perfect as a summer banger or as a chilled winter vibe. Easily some of the best deep house of 2017, so to think this only peaked at 2 really baffles me (those weird early chart runs ffs), in a just world this would have been a MANY week number 1. More of this stuff in 2018 pls, but if only something like this would be a hit...

The definition of a summer anthem tbh, I've never really loved Henry Fong his stuff often being a bit too hard for my tastes, but this is absolutely great, the chilled production does come off a little basic but those trumpets in the drop are amazing wub.gif Nyla and Stylo G are like a dream collab also and sound great together and the whole song just meshes into this summer-y feel good bop, I was obsessed with this at the time, and it maybe peaked a bit higher than it should have, but there's no denying it's a complete tune

TUNE courtesy of Major Lazer here. They've really been on top of it this year with their amazing Know No Better EP, with this title track being the highlight ofc (although Sua Cara is pretty close behind). This really is Major Lazer by numbers, but I can't complain when it's this f*cking good, it really goes off and Camila works so well on it with Travis (and Quavo don't even sound bad !!!!). Wish this could have been a bigger hit but at least it did something lol, excited to hear what Major Lazer have to offer in 2018, and hopefully FINALLY they'll give us an album (but for some reason I doubt it lol)

THIS wub.gif wub.gif everything about it is so so nice, Ariana sounds absolutely amazing, like better than usual, and Cashmere's production is especially great on this, the build up is so powerful yet the drop is so chilled and subtle and his signature use of distorted vocals sound amazing. I remember this being around the 80s on the spotify charts for about a week and I was constantly begging for it to be on Hot Hits but alas it was not meant to be </3 I couldn't really see this being a hit anyway tbf but I can dream. Hopefully he'll have a great 2018 too if Miss You is anything to go by

I kinda forgot how much of a tune this is, I was wondering how it managed number 1 and thinking it definitely over peaked, but listening back to it again I'm realising how much of a total banger this is omg. It's such an absolute tune, it's so insanely catchy and the drop is just... wow. And that last 30 seconds or so with the violins are just like ear heaven wub.gif It is a bit basic for Yellow Claw (thanks to DJ Snake kink.gif) but it's SOOO good. I remember this being stuck in my head for a solid month, orobs a big reason why it went number 1 lol. Easily my favourite from their album: Los Amsterdam, although Open is an absolute banger too and I'm really regretting never charting that now...

Travis Scott is actually my favorite on Know No Better, his verses are very much the highlight for me! Quavo's part is good too in a funny/ironic way, those lyrics laugh.gif

Posted by: danG 1st February 2018, 08:25 AM

Yellow Claw have got a bit samey and don't excite me anymore. Good Day just sounded generic to me.
Quit was lovely, shame that never amounted to anything chart wise, sounded particularly emotional following the events in Manchester.
Know No Better is quite a tune, not near the best they've ever done but quite banging.
And of course I really love Close To You wub.gif Love tat kind of deep house.

I didn't really pay Quit much attention but I remember liking it, Ariana sounded brilliant but I wish the production picked up a bit more!

His verses are great, and that's surprising for me considering I usually can't stand him laugh.gif Quavo's lyrics in this are amazing tbh lol

They have become a bit same-y sadly but Good Day just really stood out for me for some reason, but it's pretty generic compared to their normal stuff I guess
Quit is so great wub.gif if only it could have been a hit and it was fitting for the time with all the Manchester stuff <3
Close To You is like my perfect sort of house

It's amazing and Ariana is so good on it yeah, I actually really like the subtle production cus I think if it was too heavy it would kinda ruin it's beautiful vibe

My first ever BJSC entry!! and it kinda flopped badly, but I absolutely love this wub.gif the lyrics are amazing and QUINN XCII delivers really interesting and unique vocals. The production is really nice and chilled but still manages to slightly go for it in the drop, which is the best part of the song for me. It's so insanely catchy and addictive it didn't deserve to flop </3 Prince Fox hasn't really grabbed me with his other releases, although his song with Bella Thorne was a bop, if not a bit basic, and I've heard he has another ID with Hailee Steinfeld ohmy.gif

Well I would never have guessed at the end of 2016 that Cheat Codes would actually come out with another hit but wow *.* this really is soooo great and is Cheat Codes at their best. Demi and Trev sound really good together and the drop is a bit basic but so catchy and fun. This really deserved to be a bigger hit, like at least top 10, but at least it did something (which is more that can be said for Feels Great sad.gif ) Hopefully they can pull out another collab in 2018 and get another hit

01-04-2017 02 RÜFÜS - You Were Right [18-14-10-8-8-5-5-2-5-9-15-26-33](13)

I found this earlier this year after finally deciding to listen to their album and it was instant love. Everything about this song is phenomenal tbh, from the deep and almost haunting vocals to the chilled but still so powerful production, the whole song just works on an insane level and it really shows off RÜFÜS's insane production skills (but I think Innerbloom is more than enough proof of that). This was already one of my favourite songs of the year so when I saw it in BJSC I pretty much knew straight away it was getting my 18, like there was nothing that was gonna beat it laugh.gif I've also heard rumours of another album from RÜFÜS coming this year possibly so if that's true then HYPE.

King Sigala actually getting another hit this year!!! I thought he was kinda done for after getting a few continuous flops but he came through with this tune. This really is the definition of a summer banger so I was so glad to see this become such a hit and it really was omnipresent throughout summer, although it's intense overplay has kinda made it unlistenable for the time being, but I'm sure in a few months I'll warm up to it again. Sigala to smash again this year pls

21-10-2017 30 Lauv - Easy Love [34-30-37](3)

Well this is certainly a divisive one, I know a lot of people cannot stand the drop on this but I absolutely love it, it's so addictive and infectous and really stands out, he could have gone with his typical pitched vocal future bass-y drop (which admittedly would work so well on this) but he didn't and he went for something fresh which I have to applaud him for. Lauv sounds amazing on this ofc (Lauv is also someone who I thought was gonna have a big 2017 with I Like Me Better but it was not to be </3 sad.gif ). It was nice to see this hang about on the spotify charts for a few months thanks to payola Hot Hits, but it was never gonna be a hit realistically, but one can dream. Need new stuff from him already, and hopefully there's an album in the works soon

Bangerrrrr, was so glad this managed to take off so much in the UK, mainly just because it's nice to see that this sort of deep house still has a place in the charts. Really hoping James Hype can deliver another smash this year

This wub.gif wub.gif it truly is one of my songs of the year and one of my all time faves from Louis The Child. It's got such a stunning overall chilled vibe and the production compliments Chelsea Cutler's unique and soothing voice so perfectly. AND THOSE STEEL DRUMS IN THE DROP *.* This still sounds so amazing and is really a testament to Louis The Child's insane production skills, I always thought I'd be disspaointed by a non future bass Louis The Child song but when it's this great how can I complain. My only complaint being that it's too short </3

Well, this is a weird one, I had never actually heard of Röyksopp before this song, having only found it through Hotel Garuda which I had previously known. If you're a fan of the original I wouldn't recommend listening to this remix, it isn't bad by any means but it is nothing on the original, the production is kind of basic and completely tramples all over what makes the original so special. If ONLY I had just given the original a listen before getting into this remix because it really is miles better.

Gah it's been a good while since I've listened to this and I forgot how much of a flipping masterpiece it was omg. I can honestly see this becoming one of THOSE songs, like one of those songs that I just keep coming back to over and over and fall in love with over and over again. XO was my first introduction to EDEN and it was instant love, his amazingly powerful and unique voice resonates with me so much and his productions are always so interesting and fresh and really grab you, especially in his new album Vertigo. Kinda wish this was a bit higher up the list because it really will be my favourite from EDEN for a long long while, and that's saying something when his catalogue is so insanely strong

THIS BANGER. Still can't deal with how huge of a hit this has become and it's so great to see MK finally get a hit of his own merit after Piece Of Me underperformed so criminally </3 Everything about this works so well, the insanely catchy vocals and the upbeat and repetitive piano beat really launch this into banger status, and beyond tbh. Kinda shocked to see I only charted this at 3 despite it being so recently ohmy.gif Hoping MK can have some more smashes in 2018 cheer.gif

commenting on your top 20 so far, I love '17', 'More Than Friends', 'Came Here For Love', and I like 'You Were Right' and 'No Promises' a lot too.
'17' was very unlucky to make it to only #3 in my chart, spent 6 weeks there (and an additional 4 weeks at #4!) - would've been an easy #1 if not for Avicii.
'XO' is fairly good, got it on my playlist but it's not growing on me enough to make my top 100 at this point.
I love 'Never Ever' but not too keen on that remix giving it a skim listen, as you thought oops.
look forward to how your top 10 plays out, all the songs there are great except 'Silence' which I never got and 'This Guy' which I've never even heard of. I'll do an early prediction for 'Real Life' to win, or 'Cola' if not that.

Rooting for All Stars and Cola out of those remaining!

Banger alert *.* Not 100% sure how this made the top 10 but it's soooo good. The vocals are chilled but have a really nice vibe yet the drop completely goes off. This still sounds so good listening now and it was basically the soundtrack of my summer, I think it spent a good 5 months on my playlist which is an incredibly long time for me, so I definitely reccomend you check this out if you haven't heard it

Wow this. It took me a while to get into this, with it being so different to his usual stuff but once it hit me, it reallyyy hit me. This song is crafted so perfectly with it's beautiful synths and driving bass lines that are so addicting. To hear something so progressive and chilled from Tchami is so weird and fresh yet it still manages to keep an essence of classic Tchami somehow. Was hoping he'd release more of this style this year but unfortunately not, he's seemingly gone down a more bass house-y route which is unfortunately not really my thing and his most recent Revelations EP was largely disappointing, aside from Don't Let Me Down and Adieu Pt. II. Here's hoping the once king of Future House can deliver again this year

The return of Avicii, and it's safe to say it lived up to my hype levels. Without You is a track I've been waiting for for ages, ever since he premiered it at Ultra back in 2016 I loved it. So when I saw he was releasing it I knew that the week it came out it was going straight to number 1 on my chart. Although I think I slightly prefer the original version, this song is bloody amazing. It's very classic Avicii in it's style but yet it still has a very fresh feeling to it. It has such a feel good vibe and is so insanely catchy and still sounds amazing, it's easily in my top 5 Avicii songs ever so WHY did it not get a push dduafhlfeh, I don't think I'm ever gonna get over this being but snubbed officially but whatever, the worlds cruel. So hyped for more Avicii and hopefully he releases that second EP sometime this year.

07. Martin Solveig - All Stars ft. ALMA

23-09-2017 26 ALMA & French Montana - Phases [26-35](2)

Kinda shocked that this is so high, especially above the likes of Without You, but the points don't lie (unless I added them up wrong or something which is probable) but this is a tune so I'm happy to see it here. Both ALMA and Martin had just had hits with Chasing Highs and Places so to see them collab was unexpected but amazing, just from the names it sounded like a huge hit SO WHY WASN'T IT ONE AHEWHNFEJ. When I first heard it I was little unsure, I was expecting it to be more like Places so I was a little dissapointed but the more I listened to it the more I got it, it's such a fun care-free song that's so easy just to bop too and sing along too, and along with the video this is the exact sort of song the chart needs more of: just simple, fun and not serious. This should have been a huge summer smash but it was SNUBBED </3 Need another single from Martin already so maybe he can actually get a hit this time.

12-11-2017 08 NAATIONS - Want Me More [31-25-13-8-8-12-18-25-29-34](10)

The complete dream collab... of 2014. But still I was SO hyped for this and boyyyy did it deliver. This is the perfect example of just amazing deep house. This was omnipresent throughout my summer, and for good reason, it's such a banger and is so easy just to go mad to. It sounds like a huge smash but it wasn't to be </3 I remember the day it managed top 50 on spotify and then the next day Mr. Brightside pushed it out... If that doesn't describe everything that's wrong with the world idk what does. At least it has some success, making top 40 for a few weeks but it should have been so much bigger sad.gif Also need Duke Dumont to release new music, and Gorgon City to release another deep house banger again

29-04-2017 12 Whethan - love gang ft. Charli XCX [15-12-17-23-27-30-37](7)
25-11-2017 17 David Guetta & Afrojack - Dirty Sexy Money ft. Charli XCX & French Montana [26-17-19-25-31](5)

TUNE OF 2017 tbh, and another song that should have been a hit ffs. Mura Masa has really smashed it this year, his album being one of my faves of the year and this is easily the highlight. It's pretty different for Mura Masa being a lot more poppy I guess than his usual stuff but it's still got that usual Mura Masa vibe and Charli sounds fantastic on this. It's so incredibly catchy and addictive and the subtle production is still interesting enough to really carry the song, the steel drum sounds are just so nice wub.gif Hopefully Mura Masa can deliver again this year, but after his insane 2017 I'd understand if he took a little break, but can he get an actual hit sometime since Love$ick was unjustly robbed too.

07-01-2017 02 Pnau - Chameleon [2-2-7-7-3-7-12-17-18-20-16-24-25-30-32-36-39](17)
12-11-2017 13 Pnau - Go Bang [23-20-20-13-17-23-28-35-40](9)

ABSOLUTE BANGER. The fact this managed 17 weeks and would be in the middle of its actual chart run if I had a chart last year, it probs would have managed 20+ weeks easily which is kinda insane. This really is an absolute tune, it's so fresh sounding amongst all the other dance out there and is such a standout track. Really really wish this could have been given a UK push because I could genuinely see this being a hit. It's pretty much impossible to listen to this and not bop along tbh. Unfortunately, Pnau have yet to something as great as this again yet and their album, aside from Go Bang, was mostly disappointing.

~The top 3 will be revealed tonight~

CamelPhat & Elderbrook - Cola
Marshmello - Silence ft. Khalid
WHTKD - Say to Me

Who's gonna grab the number 1?

Posted by: PeteFromLeeds 17th February 2018, 11:31 AM

Love both All Stars and Real Life - wish both had done a little more officially sad.gif

Hope Cola can be #1 out of those three!

Posted by: danG 17th February 2018, 01:18 PM

some bangers! surprised Duke City aren't top five but #6 is higher than I put it.

Chameleon sounded really fresh, good to see Australia took to it a lot anyway. All Stars is great too but I prefer Places.

hoping for a Cola victory!

Chameleon is so great, I think it becoming a hit in Australia filled me with a bit of false hope sad.gif
I honestly don't know if I prefer All Stars or Places, I think Places just edges it but that might be due to it actually being a hit and me hearing it around more and stuff so idk

07-10-2017 10 Khalid - Young, Dumb & Broke [29-19-10-11-13-20-28-34](8)

This wub.gif what a tuneee. The drop may be a little basic but the vocals and the build up are so amazing, it's so catchy and so easy just to listen to over and over again. Khalid sounds absolutely amazing and I'm so glad this is what finally shot Marshmello into stardom. I haven't loved his follow ups quite as much as this but that is a very high bar tbf. It was the soundtrack to my summer and I didn't stop listening throughout my holiday last year, and it still sounds amazing. Dreaming about Marshmello and Khalid collabing again tbh. Happy Marshmello still getting smashes and hopefully Khalid can follow suit this year too.

12-11-2017 01 WHTKD & KStewart - Secrets [1-1-3-4-7-6-8-9-12-16-22-25-30-33-40]

BANGER. Despite coming out in 2016 this didn't really hit me till last year, but I'm so glad it did. It really is deep house at it's finest, it comes off a bit basic and not really anything special at first, but there's a lot more to this than it seems. The production is really interesting and actually packs quite a bit of emotion, especially at the second drop, which is kind of rare in this sort of deep house. His follow up Secrets was a banger too so I'm excited to hear more from him this year hopefully.

So that means...

01. CamelPhat & Elderbrook - Cola

Chart Peak: 01
Chart Points: 31303

Chart Histories:
CamelPhat
12-08-2017 01 CamelPhat & Elderbrook - Cola [15-14-17-15-9-6-4-1-1-2-3-5-8-12-21-26-31-30-35-39](20)

Elderbrook
12-08-2017 01 CamelPhat & Elderbrook - Cola [15-14-17-15-9-6-4-1-1-2-3-5-8-12-21-26-31-30-35-39](20)
16-09-2017 33 Elderbrook - Talking [33-35-34-40](4)

Do I even need to say anything about this? It's crazy to think that the first time I heard this at the start of summer that I thought nothing of it and didn't even put it on my playlist at first ohmy.gif but then I kept hearing it over summer due to it being so big in Ibiza and it slowly began to grow on me, and then when it started to get some mainstream success I began to completely fall in love with it. I'm still so over the moon and shocked at this becoming an actual hit. This EASILY makes number 1 in terms of my chart, as it broke the record for most charting weeks (with 18) and that was before it even finished charting ohmy.gif , and when I saw this made number 1 in my EOY I wasn't really sure at first as I didn't think that was really reflective of my favourite song of 2017, but the more I thought about it, the more I realised that nothing this year has had such an impact on me, more than Cola. It's the song I've probably stanned hardest this year, I charted it for the longest time, I've been listening to it for the majority of the year and it was on my playlist for a solid 5 months or so (which is an insane amount of time for me). Basically this is THE song of 2017 for me and I can easily see this being one of my faves of all time tbh. Camelphat to deliver a banger of this level in 2018 pls (although I admit that's unlikely)

Posted by: BridgeCow 18th February 2018, 08:00 PM

And with that I've FINALLY finished my EOY, it only took 2 months but whatever

Full list coming in a bit

Thanks for following with me guys ~ see you next year where I can be a bit more organised and actually finish this in a reasonable amount of time lmao

Yes Cola! Was big in my chart too, spending 8 weeks top 10 - though only made it to #5 (where it stayed for six weeks)

Say To Me is a *choon alert* anthem too, glad it came to my attention in early 2017.
