Amazing thank you!!
ARTPOP has sold pretty well actually, it just was so short-lived on charts but obviously a cult classic now |

Sales for The Cure are pleasing to see. I didn't realise it had sold quite that much. a smash!

Thanks for that update!
I thought DWUW was ahead of Applause and over 400K before but obviously it’s sales will probably not look much different to that now. Good to see ARTPOP and Joanne both sell a fair bit more too. Million Reasons coming for 400K next! |

I thought DWUW was ahead of Applause and over 400K before but obviously it’s sales will probably not look much different to that now. DWUW is over 400k, this data is from the OCC database and it doesn't include DWUW's first three weeks when it was not eligible to chart due to different chart rules back then. However BPI counted those three weeks and according to them DWUW is somewhere between 430k and 460k (maybe someone has the exact figures from the first three weeks so we can add them to the total?). |

Based on sales trajectory, we can maybe expect Telephone to get to a million in ~4/5 months then? Probably when the new era starts (which will give it a natural boost anyway).

Does anyone know what DWUW's peak position would have been if it had been chart eligible the whole time?

'Do What U Want' was a Tuesday release (back when the chart covered Sunday to Saturday) and Music Week revealed it would have debuted at #10 with 22,915 sales in its first week.
Using the old iTunes archive thread that was posted on here, we can track the song's daily movements: Week 1: 15-2-11-26-30 Week 2: 31-12-9-8-7-8-6 Week 3: 10-13-15-8-7-7-6 I'm going to assume 'Do What U Want' would have been Top 10 in both its second and third week, which would suggest roughly 30k for each week. In total, we're looking at around 80k, maybe even 90k, worth of missing sales, which would put its combined total at 450k/460k. |

Did the Xtina versions sales get combined with the official version too. I remember that nearly getting the song back in the top ten. I guess now though it’ll be the track with the lowest sales between updates we get now with what happened.
I’ve also noticed just how many Gaga tracks were mid week releases. She pretty much done OA\OS back in the days where we had single pre orders. |

Born This Way (single) having a Friday release at such a busy time (Brits the following week) still gets to me. It could've been #1 with a full week I think

Born This Way (single) having a Friday release at such a busy time (Brits the following week) still gets to me. It could've been #1 with a full week I think Easily, it was SUCH a stupid decision to randomly move the release forward two days. I think it sold about 180k across its first 7 days on sale, that would have been a bumper first week #1. |

The midweek releases and OA/OS strategy when not everyone was releasing this way really irritated me at the time. Judas and The Edge of Glory dropping down the charts and not recovering as well as I hoped they would was annoying when you think how well they'd have peaked and sold if held back.

It wasn't even the held back release that I wanted, it was just a Sunday release to get a full week's sales tally! I know it was to coincide with the US release and she wanted all the fans to have it at the same time but bitch think of us chart fanatics!!1!
