I've noticed that newspapers and websites are now showing actual photographs of the House of Commons in action rather than just screenshots. Since when was this allowed? Can't find any articles about how it came to this.

Can't find any articles about how it came to this. Is it just today, after the roof leaked water yesterday? Some MP's were taking pics but from what I read it still isn't allowed. Maybe those reached the press? |

Yes, as far as I am aware it is still against the rules. Of course, the rules were written long before every MP carried a camera in their pocket. A revision of the rules to bring them in line with 21st century technology would be sensible. |

A revision of the rules to bring them in line with 21st century technology would be sensible. And you know how irresponsible a large majority of MPs can be with their Twitter postings. |

Apparently a single press photographer has recently been allowed in to the chamber.
