So, in May 2013 we were given a brand new song from our one and only Queren, an experimental dance bop called Skirt. It was rumoured to be her new single for 12th album Kiss Me Once, but it was just a promo single, and was also left off the final album.

Different to her usual stuff and totally different to the KMO tracks, how do we feel about it now? Should it have been the theme of the album, would you like a whole album of Skirts?
Should she do more like this? Should she keep her skirt up?

Please do gimme your input

It's terrible, I've only played it twice and it should be erased from existence.

I quite liked it, but wouldn't have been a hit though and can see why it wasn't on KMO, it would have sounded out of place

Really like it... would have easily made the top 40 released on buzz alone.... would have got some good cross over sales too.

I like it a lot, I like the brash production and how it sounds so hard electronic pop/dance (not in the same way 'Timebomb' does). It's a nice treat but I'd never like it as a single, in terms of Kiss Me Once I'd probably rank it just above halfway if it was on there.

I've found a new love for Skirt. I play it a lot especially the 'Switch Remix'

Skirt is one of the better songs to come from this era. It should have made the album.

I really wanted an album of songs similar to 'Skirt'. sad.gif It got me so excited for the album so I was pretty disheartened when I heard the album previews. 'Skirt' did take a while to get into though, so even if the album was very 'Skirt'-esque, I probably wouldn't have chosen it to be a single.

Def think she should have included more RNBish / Dubstep modern sounding tracks like skirt on the new album
Actually bought the new album based on SKIRT.

Kiss me Once has her signature dancey / modern sound, top notch production & some Rnb infused tracks I guess..

I like when Kylie tries her hand at mainstream & if she did a Body Language Part 2, though with today's modern sound, I think
she would have made more of an impact rather than just pleasing existing fans.

Overall, Skirt & some of the remixes ONE OF HER BEST TRACKS FOR ME. Especially the bridge. HOT!
