This is nice and the video is beautiful, but I can't see this doing that well unfortunately. It's a shame she isn't doing that well this era as I like both this and "Close To Me".

I much prefer Ellie on songs like Flux.
Her voice for me is much better on more mellow, ballad like tracks. It’s far better than Close To Me. I hope it does well but I did have a feeling which I posted in the 2019 predictions thread that commercially this would be her lowest selling era so I can see her having another low top 40 hit with this but that’s it. |

Actually really like this. I don't normally like her second single ballads with black and white videos (that's basically her Thing now, right?) but this is lovely with the classic vocal stylings she did more on album 1 and 2 paired with the piano.

This is the only song that is confirmed to be on the album. I'm really starting to think that Close To Me, Sixteen and Hate Me won't be on the album. I reckon the deal is, if Ellie wants to release the album she wants to release, then she has to release these singles to get 'hits'.
I also managed to grab Flux on CD, it even has a few remixes with it
