Capital FM have playlisted AJR's Weak, a recent Spotify hit, but in a new mix that features Louisa Johnson! I expect it will be out on Friday, quite intrigued to hear this as the original is pretty decent.

Original:

I'd prefer the original became a UK hit, but if this Mix helps then that's good too.

Wise move to move on swiftly from Best Behaviour - this should at least give her another hit and more exposure.

I'm over Weak now unfortunately, Louisa won't really do anything for it for me. If they were to push I'm Not Famous then THAT would be a different story.

I used to love I'm Ready back in the day so I am glad these guys are back. Woody Allen was good too.

Louisa's last try at a hit?

She's hanging on by a thread, the public aren't warming to her, all of her songs have underperformed and she has charted worse than Steve Brookstein.

With Syco's track record for dropping artists, things aren't looking great right now.

Your posts are so biased.
Winners single - flop (irrelevant to her career)
Tears huge hit
So good big hit
Best behaviour - flop but could of been worse

Hardly a huge flop? You can't say the public aren't warming to her either as it's only the one single that hasn't done that well.

Me either, it's a shame as if they had done this earlier it could have been.

Tears was fairly popular, So Good was definitely not a big hit. Most people probably couldn't even name it.

She is not as well known as previous contestants have been. It is harder for newer X Factor acts to have careers

So Good spent 12 weeks in the top 40 (8 in the top 20) and sold 400k. I'd say that's a big hit. Not a massive hit like Tears but still a good performance.

Tears fairly popular? It's platinum?

So good has sold 400k how is that not a hit?

Tears was a massive hit, "fairly popular" is a massive understatement unsure.gif and So Good was a top 15 hit, not as big as Tears but still a big hit. Definitely feel like there's a lot of reaching happening in this thread.

Anyone know why it's the "Stay Strong Mix"? tongue.gif

Louisa sounds great on this though, much better than she did on "Best BehaviAHH" anyway. Shame it didn't come out a month or two ago when it was picking up steam on Spotify... although I wouldn't rule out the possibility of it climbing back up.

I don't even know why but this never hit me until now, it's not even the Louisa addition even though she does sound good on it. The chorus is huge!! music.gif

I'm actually loving this edit SO MUCH.

It would be good if they properly pushed it as a stand alone single and gave it a video for a UK release.

It sounds amazing on the radio, Louisa definitely adds something to it.

Not sure about her contribution to the "one hit, bad for me, one kiss, bad for me.." sections but I'm loving her on the rest. Really been getting into this over the past few days since this was announced, it had passed me by before laugh.gif

59p and not even in the Top 200 on iTunes? Surely Louisa has enough fans for her to go Top 200!

On all the comments regarding her career yes 'Tears' and 'So Good' were hits but they are 10 and 5 months old already - they will be forgotten about if/when an album appears, the performance of BB and now Weak will make Syco sh!t themselves - let's face it they have dropped acts with much bigger sales before.

Louisa's career so far reminds me of Amelia Lily and Diana Vickers
