 Seeing as this is the "year of the women" according to Timbaland, it is only right to keep the new female artists coming. Justine Skye is a 19 year old singer/songwriter from Brooklyn, signed to Atlantic Records, after catching their attention with her cover of 'Headlines' by Drake. She cites Janet Jackson, Aaliyah and Missy Elliot as her biggest influences. Her EP 'Emotionally Unstable' is apparently coming out this Summer, with a debut album to follow. She has just dropped her first song from the EP, entitled 'Bandit'. Really reminds me of RiRi actually, gives me a bit of 'Bitch Better Have My Money' vibes. You may have also heard/want to check out 'Collide' with Tyga, DJ Mustard produced, which was released last Summer. Appears this is for her debut album rather than the upcoming EP though: Another one to watch anyway. |

"Collide" is #169 at Spotify now. The original still sounds decent to me right now, but pretty weird compared to the ultra sped up version.
