71 636 Shawn Mendes - If I Can't Have You (32-14-10-9-8-11-18-19-23-38-39-55-xx) [12 wks] 72 635 Jess Glynne & Jax Jones - One Touch (35-14-17-15-12-10-12-13-16-22-45-66-xx) [12 wks] 73 634 Selena Gomez - Lose You to Love Me (19-7-4-2-2-3-3-4-6-...) [9 wks] 74 628 Lil Nas X - Old Town Road (39-26-31-27-18-19-27-37-53-48-67-51-41-38-42-63-46-67-xx) [18 wks] 75 625 Ellie Goulding - Sixteen (34-25-13-12-10-13-13-20-32-35-38-42-xx) [12 wks] We kick things off with Ellie Goulding's Sixteen, which failed to spend a single week at #16 on the Multichart or even chart for 16 weeks. I'm disappointed in you Buzzjack xx. Despite being the most viral hit of the year, Old Town Road was nothing of the sort here, peaking at #18 but having a longer chart run to compensate. Selena Gomez just barely sneaks in with the newest song in the EOY! Unfortunately Dua Lipa's Don't Start Now fell short of appearing by only 8 points One Touch is my fave in this section, an amazing song from Jess and Jax Jones' first of four appearances here! Shawn Mendes obviously has one more entry to come but let's face it, If I Can't Have You is the better song and deserved FAR better than it got here |

66 652 Ed Sheeran feat. Chance the Rapper & PnB Rock - Cross Me (25-28-29-23-20-13-12-23-24-17-25-32-xx-65-xx) [13 wks] 67 650 CamelPhat & Christoph feat. Jem Cooke - Breathe (29-32-6-8-10-10-11-13-20-30-43-50-xx) [12 wks] 68 645 Niall Horan - Nice To Meet Ya (20-23-17-12-14-9-8-9-10-15-54-xx) [11 wks] 69 644 CamelPhat & Jake Bugg - Be Someone (25-21-16-15-19-16-14-21-32-23-24-51-67-xx) [13 wks] 70 639 Georgia - About Work the Dancefloor (55-24-21-22-20-17-14-17-15-24-38-39-53-66-xx) [14 wks] if you happen to be a CamelPhat stan this is the batch for you- we have 'Breathe' which shot to a #6 peak in January, and their random collab with Jake Bugg on 'Be Someone'. Georgia appears with her Robyn-esque synth tune 'About Work the Dancefloor', along with Niall Horan's rock banger 'Nice To Meet Ya' (his highest peaking Multichart hit to date) and Ed Sheeran's 'Cross Me', which got further up the chart than all his other No.6 Collaborations singles |

61 667 Post Malone feat. Young Thug - Goodbyes (21-19-18-18-16-13-14-16-16-17-31-46-xx) [12 wks] 62 665 Zedd & Katy Perry - 365 (15-8-6-6-8-8-6-13-21-30-50-xx) [11 wks] 63 664 Jax Jones & Bebe Rexha - Harder (58-49-32-21-19-12-20-24-28-28-29-28-23-40-65-xx) [15 wks] 64 663 Freya Ridings - Castles (61-46-33-20-15-10-7-4-5-11-25-34-54-xx) [13 wks] 65 662 Kylie Minogue - New York City (37-12-9-10-9-18-28-43-29-34-41-38-39-55-xx) [14 wks] Is Cher top 65? No, but Kylie is! New York City was the single from her current greatest hits album, and her third Multichart top 10 in the last two years. Freya Ridings got her first ever top 10 with Castles - believe it or not Lost Without You only peaked at #17! Jax Jones makes another appearance with Harder, just behind another dance-pop collab, 365, which did reasonably well here despite much greater misfortune on the official charts. Last we have Goodbyes from Post Malone, which I love but you'll find that Circles ended up a lot higher here. Also, notice how only five points total separate these five songs! |

Surprised Harder is so high, it seemed to always get a negative response in the official chart threads

56 725 Meduza, Becky Hill & GOODBOYS - Lose Control (19-15-6-6-5-6-5-7-12-14-16-...) [11 wks] 57 707 Lizzo - Juice (56-15-16-18-14-15-13-14-16-19-23-26-49-63-xx) [14 wks] 58 691 Halsey - Nightmare (20-11-5-5-10-12-14-18-24-30-36-51-61-xx) [13 wks] 59 677 Ariana Grande - thank u, next (...-3-3-3-4-9-11-17-24-28-41-49-43-xx) [12 wks] 60 672 Billie Eilish - all the good girls go to hell (21-12-13-14-13-14-15-22-27-33-46-44-50-70-74-...) [15 wks] Billie Eilish has the first of her three appearances here, 'all the good girls go to hell' being the last of the pushed singles from her debut album. Ariana's 'thank u next' reached #1 at the end of 2018 but half of its run spills over to this year, Halsey's 'Nightmare' became another #5 multi hit for her matching Without Me & Eastside's peaks, and Lizzo's 'Juice' became her first taste of chart success (with much more to come later that year). Meduza & Goodboys followed up their breakthrough hit - with basically the same song plus Becky Hill vocals, naturally it went over well giving them another top 5 single here |

What a great bunch of songs there! Glad ATGGGTH got the recognition here that it didn’t get on the official charts. Nightmare remains Halsey best

51 754 Sigrid - Don’t Feel Like Crying (29-18-22-26-23-22-29-20-18-12-21-32-52-53-50-52-73-xx-74-64-xx) [19 wks] 52 754 Harry Styles - Lights Up (14-6-4-2-2-5-7-6-7-12-17-...) [11 wks] 53 749 Marshmello feat. CHVRCHES - Here With Me (54-19-16-11-4-4-5-9-8-15-16-26-52-xx) [13 wks] 54 730 Jonas Brothers - Sucker (25-13-2-2-2-2-5-8-15-21-30-57-xx) [12 wks] 55 729 Taylor Swift feat. Brendon Urie - ME! (8-2-2-1-1-1-2-12-21-36-50-61-62-xx) [13 wks] We lose our first #1 in this section and it's Taylor Swift's ME!...a slight shock considering it had three weeks at #1! The Jonas Brothers' Sucker was blocked from #1 by both Mabel and Ava Max and spent only 12 weeks in the chart, also surprising to me Marshmello's Here With Me matched the #4 peak of his predecessor, Happier. Meanwhile, Lights Up gave Harry Styles his biggest Multichart hit to date (beating Sign Of The Times' #4 peak). Don't Feel Like Crying fell short of the top 10 for Sigrid but spent 11 weeks in the top 30, a slow-burner! |

46 773 Miley Cyrus - Slide Away (48-11-8-7-4-6-8-8-10-12-17-25-51-xx) [13 wks] 47 770 Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - Shallow (...-11-13-18-26-25-33-30-33-34-39-23-24-29-35-41-55-64-71-70-xx) [19 wks] 48 762 Ava Max - Torn (8-5-4-5-7-7-9-12-13-21-29-54-59-69-xx) [14 wks] 49 761 Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus & Lana Del Rey - Don't Call Me Angel (6-2-1-1-2-3-9-11-21-29-32-54-56-xx) [13 wks] 50 759 Kygo & Rita Ora - Carry On (33-17-13-19-7-4-5-7-14-18-25-31-42-74-72-xx) [15 wks] Shallow peaked at #2 the previous year, but with A Star Is Born's second wind during ~awards season~ it firmly makes the cut for 2019. Ava Max's 'Torn' fared much better with Buzzjack than the general public, reaching #4, the same peak as Miley Cyrus' breakup ballad 'Slide Away'. Ariana/Miley/Lana's much hyped collaboration spent two weeks at #1, their theme song for Charlie's Angels in which they wish to not be called angels (??). And there's a Kygo/Rita Ora song I barely remember, presumably it was boring and bad |

Excellent to see Kygo & Rita Ora's "presumably boring and bad" tune get a place in the top 50!
